booze recipe?

I would like a good recipe for a long island iced tea. I have been to some places where they were wonderful and some where they were vomit inducing.

Anyone know how to make the wonderful variety?
(I don't drink much so make your instructions simple..... )

Long Island Iced Tea
1/2 shot of vodka
1/2 shot of tequila
1/2 shot of gin
1/2 shot of white rum
1/2 of triple sec
1/2 to 1 shot of sour mix
3 shots of cola
combine all and pour over ice in a high ball glass

enjoy....

I think you will find that different brands available for each ingredient are what makes the difference between "wonderful" and "gag me". Rum, Gin and Tequila especially have a very wide range of taste between brands.
