Bot?

Some people post in ongoing threads with memes and word games. 60 a day is perhaps not much if you get caught up in one of those.

(I've been posting here for two years and three or four months. I have 11k posts, for an average of about 14 posts a day. I'd probably post more if I didn't have distractions like a wife and work, and sometimes trying to write.)

A thought: Do we know if private conversations up the count?
No, they don't. I've had DMs from people with a 0 post count.

About a thousand since April as best I can tell. Is this mysterious BOT harassing anyone? is he causing you problems? Is there a reason you're investigating them?
Maybe they think it's time to institute the Literotica Un-Human Activities Committee, to better organize antisocial prejudice at anyone whose behavior isn't at least 95% conformative to the mean of accepted posters.

Sure. It's Marie1772.

Alright, this is a bit creepy, so if this person is actually real - I'm sorry.

However.

You can look up people's post/activity history on here. This person seems to only ever write fairly short, similar sounding - sometimes actually identical, in-character roleplay thread replies. They do not seem to ever use reactions, start threads or write anything that isn't basically a direct, affirmative, and sexual answer to something.

Houston, I think we have a bot.

I can’t help but wonder if te people in Fetish & Sexuality Central waste time on discussions lie this or is it just us?

You don't think this could constitute a fetish for someone?

Also I still have no idea what any of this is about, but it seemed like it was important to AG.

Don't know, don't go to other forums. I waste my time here to take breaks from writing, but sometimes, this joint keeps me from going back to work.

Is someone testing a sexting bot here? It's a reasonable place to try to tune it.

How does it become an issue in AH, though. Not sure there’s much crossover between the two forums, except for maybe AG31.

🤷‍♂️
Me, I'm just bored. Today is a shitty day, I couldn't sleep much and that + my illness makes me unable to do anything complicated or important. So I'm messing around on YT and on here.

Just wondering about the activity of bots in general in this new age.

When I started posting here in the spring, there were definitely bots afoot. Accounts that would reply to posts summarizing them in the ChatGPT style. I haven't seen any of them in the fall, though.

Higher than that, but you always need to check content and context before jumping to a conclusion. A spam bot, like AI junk, is easy to spot. Usually the pattern is identical text in multiple forums.

Without checking this person, the sounds more like one forum, multiple short posts, which is more typical human behaviour.

It could be someone who has already been a regular user for a long time, who somehow became motivated to create a sockpuppet/alt account and already knew where they wanted to spam. And what for? Take your pick: It could be that they're getting their jollies this way, all by itself. It could be that they're honeypotting and getting their jollies after baiting people into DM'ing with them. It could be that they're catfishing, again via the DM honeypot.

Except for the "getting jollies" part, all of the above could be perpetrated by either a bot or a person. But, no, unless there's something specific which screams "inhuman," like for example making 15 posts in different threads in <30 seconds, then, no, I don't see a reason to automatically conclude that it's a bot.

Or they made an alt because they wanted to be in the roleplaying type forums but also wanted to be able to get away from all of that and the likely DMs that earns them as a result?

I mean, or it can be a bot. I think either are possible.

Now I'm also wondering if this is a challenge as well...
