Ok thread, just for you. I wasn't going to let a poor morning, bad medicine (not the Bon Jovi variety), or a dead battery in my camera stop me! So I took my dead-battery camera and used it as a prop. Ha! In your face, battery! There were a couple more I saved from this "shoot", but I'm not sure I like them as much. Too much of this and that poking out from here and there. But who knows, I may have a change of heart and decide to share them with you. They're not exactly flattering, so keep on the lookout for a day when I appear to be in a particularly good mood and I might share one.

Thanks! I do like getting points. I was considering using a coffee as a prop but had a couple problems. 1) I typically only drink espresso and find a hard time working out an angle such that the prop would be positioned adequately to meet the forum photo guidelines, and 2) I saw it somewhere else and it looked way better than I could ever have hoped to make my own. I don't see much purpose in creating something I know can only ever hope to be 2nd best.

In other news, no sign of new photo toys. However, I did organize my gear and found some exciting stuff. Looking forward to getting some new shots next week.
