The smell of sulfur and brimstone, screams and hollers of pain and despair... Things a demoness truly came to love in those first few centuries, but the novelty wore off when stuck in the recesses of the underworld for far too long. And Desdemona was perfectly certain she had reached that mark.

"That damn book," she hissed seethingly, grabbing hold of a scurrying devilrat and pulling its ears as she growled. "I haven't been in the mortal world for so long- all because of that damn book!"

The rat squeeked and squirmed, Desi refusing to let go. "You get to go as you please. I'm stuck here. Piss off the Great Demon Lord, you get your Earthly Tether bound to a vessal... He just had to do the encantation tie for me. No one reads a damn book-!" She dropped the rat hard, growling again. She couldn't influence the tome from here. The Demon Lord had placed a control on the book, barring her contact from the pages. Damn, damn, damn!

Angering the Demon Lord earned terrible punishment.
More so when he was your father.

"I can't do anything to the book... But someone near it, perhaps..." Desi smiled, a devilish little smirk. Still no admittance to the mortal realm, but she could certainly peek from here. Now... What to do it with?

"Get back here!" The little rat was reclaimed, Desi hoisting it up by the scruff of reddened fur. "You get to help me, or I get to eat you. Seems fair." She touched a finger to its nose, smiling still as it screeched in pain as she changed its form. "Hush, you'll be fine," she mumbled, smirking as a little redheaded boy was now standing at her feet. "Find the book. Make sure it gets read. And for hell's sake, make sure they say it right!"

The boy nodded, then vanished in a whisp of red smoke that lingered of more brimstone. Desi simply coughed, waving it away. "Ugh. That stink..."

Derrick "Dee" Samson was going out of his mind. Here he was in a flee market of all places. The dark haired, in a badly need of a shave, 6'2" tall, 30 year old man in a Hawaiian shirt and shorts -the only piece of clothing he had left since his apartment burned down- with hazel eyes, really was hitting rock bottom. To be looking for stuff in a flee market. Argh.

"So... why are we here again?" His bald tattooed friend, Chase asked as he was walking up behind him. He was the only friend he had left, since his ex -that "she-bitch"- had slept with his best friend and left him.

Dee turned and looked at Chase. "Cause I need to find some cheap clothing, and other crap before I take this much needed vacation. Thanks again for letting me stay at your uncle's cabin by the way man."

"Its no problem dude. You need a break. After Carol left you, and your place burning down, you really need this vacation. What did they say at the store when you put in your request?"

"I have no idea, since I just left the paper work when no one was there. I really didn't need to hear, 'Its not a good time for us....' bullcrap." He said. He had already got some clothes, some personal effects, but now he needed something to occupy his time while he was up in that cabin for the next two weeks.

So he was looking around a vendor's setup with a lot of old books. It was an odd habit of his. To look at books no one seemed to want and read. And this collection of books was as random and unwanted as he ever saw. All except for one. It was different... and actually kind of scary looking. It looked like it was in some kind of black leather bounding, with a screaming ghost like face on the front. Normally Dee would just look past such a thing, but he felt drawn to it.

"I wouldn't." The old woman said from her chair. She was a hunched over old crown if Dee had ever seen one before. She gave him the creeps just looking at her.

"And why not?" He asked. He looked back up the book. It was dreadfully eerie looking, but he wasn't sure, it was almost as if the book was asking him to pick it up. "Why have a book like this here if you aren't going to sell it?"

"Oh I want to sell it young man. But you really have no idea what you are getting yourself into." She said as she turned to look at him with half-open eyes. She studied him for a moment. A thin smile on her face forming after a moment. "Though you are young and full of a lot of... energy. You might just survive your encounter."

Dee frowned and looked over to Chase. He had no idea what the old hag was talking about either. Oh well. Dee was bored enough and not right in the head at this given moment to let such an intriguing item get past him.

"I'll take it." He said as he fiddled with some cash from his pocket.

"Take it, I don't want it anymore. But be forewarned. The passages in this book are not to be spoke aloud... even more so incorrectly." The old woman said in such a cryptic manner. She handed the book to Dee and turned and walked to behind her stall.

Dee turn to Chase and shrugged. Whatever. He turned and walked off. Never noticing the little redheaded boy that had been watching the whole thing.

The boy watched from the edge of the stand, a sneer on his face as the old woman chided this man's interest in the book before him. It had taken a bit for Desi to even find the tome, let alone get the boy there. His grin grew as the man plucked it up, studying it over before passing over his payment.

The woman's warning was true enough, the boy knew that. He was fully aware of what that book could do, and what came along with it.
Speaking of which...

He pulled the curious pendant from his shirt, a bronze-looking eye that dangled from the long chain. A mumbling of odd noises left his lips, the eye blinking slowly before glancing around. Spotting the book in the man's grasp, the eye widened, staring at it a moment before focusing on his face. When the eye finally closed again, the boy followed after this curious fellow, pausing only long enough to hide himself against a storefront and pushing his fingers against the window's glass.

Desdemona's image appeared faintly in the reflection, a smile on her face as she wrapped her arms about her own shoulders. "So he's got it, hm? Seems fairly easy. Once he recites it, I can deal with him without a problem. Don't let him out of your sight... And don't let anyone else touch it!"

The boy nodded, taking his hand from the glass and continuing his tracking, focused on that book.

Desi, however, was planning things herself, studying the images the eye had caught. She could find out more on him with this...

"Derrick," she mumbled, staring at his face. "His name is Derrick. Ohh... The fun I'll have with you."

She focused again, taking up a handful of sand from the table beside her. "Read the book, Derrick. Recite the pages. Read it aloud, Derrick... You know you're curious..." She smiled, blowing the sand at his image, planting the thoughts into his head. Another handful... "I'm waiting for you, Derrick. But you need to read the book. Let me find you, Derrick..." Another soft blowing of air against sand, then wiping the remainder from her palms.

Now it was up to the boy. Keep that book, and this man, in his sights- and keep him from messing up.

Derrick couldn't help but feel as if he was being followed as Chase left him to go back home. He looked around, but all he saw was an old town in front of him. The kind you only saw in the movies... right before some terrible blight came down on it. He shook his head. He must have watched too many late night movies. What was that really crappy one he saw? The one with the B-movie actor... My Name... is Chuck? Yeah. That was it. The one where some cheesy Chinese demon plagued the town and they thought Chuck could save them. The man was a drunk and a coward, but still somehow saved the town and the girl.

Yeah, stuff like that only happen in crappy straight to dvd movies anyways. He thought as he put the stuff he bought in the back of the beat-up pickup he was using. It was Chase's uncle's. His old Chevy Camaro decided to finally die before making it up on this trip. Chase said he would take a look at it, and if he could, fix it up and drop it off if he could.

So everything was put away, yet... the book. That creepy book he still didn't understand why he bought it, in his hands as he sat down in the bench seat. He put the book down and was just about to pull away when he heard a knock on the Driver's side window.

He stopped and looked... and wish he handed. It was the town's sheriff... and he had half a dozen cases of beer in the back of the truck... with some food and other items. He didn't need some lecture from the law right now... or to be thrown in jail before he got his vacation going. He rolled the window down and smiled... or at least tried too.

"What can I do for you Sheriff?" He asked.

The old man with mirrored sunglasses stared at him for a moment. The glare seeming to bore into Derrick's soul. Then the old man broke into a smile. "You must be Sam's nephew's friend. Sam told me he was leaning his cabin out to you." He said as he looked into the back of the truck. "Seem to be stocked up on all the essentials."

"Yeah... just... didn't want to make too many trips back into town." Derrick said as he stuck his hand out to the lawdog. "Name's Derrick Samson, but everyone calls me Dee." He said with the forced smile still on his face.

The Sheriff glared at the hand for a moment before taking it. "No problem, just as long as you don't get yourself into any trouble. Names Rogers. Sheriff Jackson Rogers." He gave Derrick a firm shake, adding pressure, but Derrick just pressed his fingers back, not wanting to let this man think he was one-upping him.

"Nice firm hand shake you got there son." He said as he looked into the cab of the truck. Derrick could feel the mans eyes on the book for some reason. "You in some kind of cult boy?"

"Erh, no sir. I just picked it up. Thought it would give me a good laugh while I am up at the cabin." He said with a shy chuckle.

"Hhhmmmm, mine if I-" The sheriff never finished what he was saying as a small boy on the side walk feel over and started to cry.

The Sheriff stared at the boy for a moment before turning back to Derrick. "You just make sure you behave. I would hate to have to be called out to handle a noise dispute." The old man said as he turned to go help the small boy.... who had disappeared when the Sheriff had looked away. Sheriff Rogers could've sworn the boy had been there.... hadn't he?

Derrick just nodded as he watch the old man leave. Checking to make sure everything was clear behind him, he pulled out and started to head out of town. "Noise dispute? I was told no one was in miles of the cabin... that old coot." He said to himself as he drove off.

Try as he might to keep his eyes on the road, they kept turning back to the book sitting right next to him. He had a sudden urge to pull off to the side and read from it. But he needed beer in his system first. He doubted he could get whatever dead language was inside it right anyways.

It took a good half-hour to get to the cabin, located a good 10 miles from town, though a snaking road though the woods. It was actually not a bad place. A 2 bed, 2 bath modernized two-story place, it looked too good to belong to this hick town. But from what he heard, Chase's uncle was a bit of an eccentric, preferring to mix the old with the new. The place even had a satellite dish for tv and internet.

As soon as he got there, he went in with the book first before going back for his 'supplies.' Once some beer had been put in the old style refrigerator, he sat down in an old love seat, popping open a beer and turning the tv on. But his eyes didn't stay on the day-time soap-opera that was on. Instead they went to the book. Taking a sip of the beer he picked it up.

He half expected the thing to bite him for some reason, and start flying around the room. He just shook his head at that thought and opened it. It was strange... it was almost as if he could read the words. The first words in the first passage caught his eye.

Klafta Verrata Nectu. Somehow he knew how to say them. But on a whim he decided to speak them out loud.

"Klafta... Verrata.... Nipto" He screwed up the last word just as he heard a crash from the kitchen.. the small boy that had been in town staring at him with shock on his face. "Who the hell are you kid?"

The book. She said keep it with him... Protect the book.
The little hellrat-boy kept this in mind as he followed the man, hissing as the new arrival grew nosey on the tome. No, no. Keep away!

But it stayed safe. Desi was still watching, the muffled view from his pendant keeping the situation in her sight. As the truck tore away, she breathed a sigh of relief. Almost there. "Keep with him!," she demanded, nervously starting to pace as the hellrat convert vanished in another red cloud.

Secluded place.... Quietly set away.
Desdemona smiled. How helpful.

The eye peered out at the man with the boy's leaning, though nothing audible was picked up through it. She relied on the boy for that, trying to hear through him. Curiosity snared Dee, she could see that. Her call... It must have worked. She was leaning almost completely off her couch as he picked it up, nodding slowly as he opened it. "That's it. Come on..."

The words were muffled, hard to hear.
Wait.
Something wasn't...
"What did he say?!," Desi shrieked, but her concerns were quick to fade, as her own form dissapaited in its own reddened cloud of sulfur and brimstone...

She gasped as she reformed, stretching out in her natural state. The summoning restored her to forms prior to magic, every spell and incantation lost- including the transform of the hellrat. It scampered over in its own natural state, scurrying quickly up her deep red pointed tail to rest upon her black leathery wings. The two small points of her horns were still quite visible from her hairline as she turned around, her nude pale form twisting before him as she gave him a cruel smirk. "Mmmhm, oh my.... Thank you. It's been far, far too long trapped because of that thing... And before THAT happens again-"

She quickly moved for the book, set on ripping it from his hands.
Instead, her hands found... nothing.
She couldn't touch it. Her eyes widened, trying again, slapping her hands toward it, only to land firmly against his chest. "Wh-whaaat?!"

No time to worry on that.
Another, more worrisome problem-
A horrendous roar out in the surroundings of the house. Desi's jaw dropped slightly, holding perfectly still, those hands, her whole upper half, still resting on Derreck's body. "How did you say the- What did you say? Did he mess it up?" This time, directed to the rat riding her shoulder, who gave a nervous stumbling set of squeaks and chitters. "Did he. Mess up."

Another roar. Answer enough right there.
"Shit." She glared up at him, straightening away from him and giving a hard sigh, resting her pointed nails against her forehead. "Daddy's here too..."

Her hand dropped, lazily looking back to the man before her, a frown now claiming her features. "And it seems I can't do a thing to that book. Or you. Congrats, darling Derreck. You've unleashed Hell on the world. But you've gained a demoness of your very own." She rolled her eyes with that, resting a hand on her hip. "My name is Desdemona. That book of yours... Held an incantatation that broke me free from the Underworld. Unfortunately, it seems.... You screwed it up." She grimaced as another roar rang out. "You let my father free as well. I simply wanted a little... Devilish fun. Daddy... Wants to destroy the world." She frowned a little, finally balling her hands and attempting to strike his chest. "Didn't anyone teach you how to read?!," she shrieked in anger, yelping as the strikes on his body seemed to burn her in return.

She groaned, hastily pulling away and frowning. The little rat chittered again, paws dancing on her shoulder. "Mm? So? What should I care?," she growled back to its noise, sighing as it did it once again. "Fiiiine. My companion reminds me, Derreck, that this little.... Development means I am bound to that book. And you." She made a face on that. "He also says my current appearance may not set well with you... Therefor...." She flicked a hand, taking a more subdued version od her demon state- no wings, no tail, no horns, her skin changing hue slightly... Though her eyes still kept the reddened color.

"My father's return will not be as abrupt. What we're hearing is his approach of the gates. You've opened them..."

One moment Derrick was looking at a red-haired boy, the next a very large rat that looked like it belonged in some kind of brimstone and fire comic book.

And then Hell broke lose. Literately.

A woman black leathery wings and a long blood red tail with two small horns adoring her forehead under her hair. Her skin very pale and very exposed to him. He had always had a fantasy of being whipped by a lady in a she-devil costume, but this... was the genuine article. He was in shock and yet... his eyes travels up and down her form... he was also aroused.

"Mmmhm, oh my.... Thank you. It's been far, far too long trapped because of that thing... And before THAT happens again-"

She said before she tried to snatch the book from his hands. Only it went right though it. The second time her hand fell upon his chest. Her upper body pressing against his as she stuttered.

"How did you say the- What did you say? Did he mess it up? Did he. Mess up."

She asked, though he wasn't in any state to respond his eyes wide, and his body refusing to move. She had turned to ask the rat-thing on her shoulder and then he heard something else. Something he was sure shouldn't be allowed to grace the face of the world. Something with a primal, inhuman roar. The first time he thought he was hearing things, wondering if the beer he had bought had gone bad. He had only taken a few sips! How could he already be hallucinating.

Daddy? Demoness? Devilish fun? Destroy the world? Bound to the book and to him?

He watched as she... changed. Her other-world attributes going away, her skin taking more natural tone... though her eyes were still red.

"My father's return will not be as abrupt. What we're hearing is his approach of the gates. You've opened them..."

And finally he found the words that had so kept away from him while this all transpired before him.

"WOoohhh! Okay now. I know I had a little bit of beer, but .... Lady! What the hell are you?!" He said as he scampered off the chair and almost tripped as he backed away from her. He dropped his beer and turned to look at her. His eyes wide, his skin pale, his heart beating rapidly.

"Open what gates? And I haven't even touched you, though God knows in your current state who could blame me if I did, but what?! This book is just a joke. I mean come on. Who would have thought saying something from these pages would extract something... from.." He paused as he narrowed his eyes and looked at her. "Where are you from? Never mind. How do I send you back. And... close this gate you speak of."

He still held the book in his hands, and as he looked at it, he could swear the damn thing was smirking at him. He flipped it open and began looking though the pages. "Damn thing needs an index of at least a table of contents. How do I undo this. Man, mother was right... I shouldn't have done acid back in highschool."

"You've done enough with it!" Desi shrieked as he started pawing through pages, trying once again to take it from him, a furious annoyed growl coming as she met with nothing but him yet again. "Mess anything else up and who knows what'll show! Just- just put it down!"

The rat squealed, hopping from her shoulder onto the book, hissing up at Dee in am attempt to spook him. "Don'r hurt him," she hissed, scooping it back up. "Binding. I'm.... Supposed to protect the bastard now." She glared at Dee with that, jabbing a finger into the pages- her hand basically going through the book, but resting enough to indicate a drawing. "THAT. Is my father."

A demon. Mountainous and destructive, a sketched mass of darkness surrounding fallen castles and fortresses. The skeptical look on his face brought another sour one to hers. "So sorry. It's an OLD PICTURE, okay?"

Acid? Drinking? Well. He wasn't exactly on the path of righteousness, so things weren't too horrific in that regard. "As for the Gates... Of Hell. Duh. Demon? Your screw up didn't just release me, it released every one of us.... Undid the lock. They still need to take the full route, since this was mine..." She waved her hand in the book again, then looked at him. "You really don't believe me, do you?"

The rat chittered, now on the floor. "No. I'm not doing that. I'm not a damned genie, I-"

More squeaks, louder chitters.

"Uuugh. Fiiiine." Desdemona pulled her hand from the book, resting it beneath Dee's chiselled chin. Ahha. Gentle touches without intent to harm, she COULD do. "Allow me to prove myself to you. Any request, any desire. State it now, and I will provide it to you. No strings.... This time."

She smirked a bit with that.
"First taste is always free."

"Well Lady, this is a whole lot to take in." He said. Confusion was the name of the game right now. Crazy thoughts of the end of the world filled his head. Oh yeah, and he was the one responsible for it. Great job moron.

"Any request?" He mouthed as her hand held his chin. All thoughts of the world ending as he looked into her eyes. Red and dangerous looking they might be, but captivating never the less. Well if the world was going to end. He might as well enjoy it.

"No string... hhhhmm. A free taste. Well...." Where had he heard that before. Oh yeah, his reed supplier back in highschool. Jackass. Had a way with words before he stuck you with the bill. Or left you holding the bag. Derrick shook his head. He had ever reason to just run out of there screaming, but her voice was like a siren's call. It held him still as his eyes glanced up and down her sleek warm body. Then he spotted the dropped beer, with the wasted contents on the floor.

He didn't know why he thought of it, but he did promise Chase he would keep the Cabin looking clean.

"Can you clean up that mess? In a french maid's outfit. And shake that fine little derriere of yours as you do it?"

He knew he wasted whatever it was he just was given, but damnit, he just had a urge to see her bent over. Shaking that rump of hers. The French Maid was also something he liked. He never could get his ex to dress up as one though.

"You do that.. I am sure we can come to an understanding."

Desdemona watched as he thoughts seemed to process it all, quirking a brow as he pondered over what was offered to him. She was curious as to what this one would have in mind. The route of greed? Possibly. Riches beyond his beliefs, just waiting for the words to leave his lips. Perhaps it was one of revenge. She could manage that for him as well. That would be quite the fun one, really.

Something caught his eye.
Desi tilted her head, watching as some type of idea came to his mind. Here it came.... She smirked, ready to reply with whatever it was he desired.

"Can you clean up that mess?"
Her hand dropped from his chin. The additional parts to his request didn't help any at all, her left eye suddenly developing a slight twitch of shock.
"And shake that fine little derriere of yours as you do it?"

"Y-You want me to...," She stammered, pointing to the mess beside them, then giving him another incredulous look. "You want me to clean up? And play DRESS up for you?!"

She almost wanted to scream him out for that, only to draw a deep breath and give a long sigh with a shrug. "Fine. Whatever. Your idea, not mine...."

Desdemona made a quick motion with her hand, the clothing he requested suddenly forming on her body with a passing cloud of red. Black silk, a tiny skirt, ruffles of tulle and white ribbon bows. Every detail, down to the little cap on her head and a sponge in her hand, black high heels enclosing her stockinged feet.

Moving to the mess he had made, she stooped down, presenting her behind into the air as she worked, wriggling and dancing it about as she wiped up what had spilled. Her hips bounced upward a few times, thrusting the skirt up a bit higher, revealing a better view of the tiny red thong nestled between her rounded pale cheeks. Still bent over, she wrapped her hands behind her knees, peering at him from around her legs. "So, Derrick. Still have your doubts on me? Believe me, there are far more ways I could easily show you how truthful I am... but that damn BOOK won't LET me. I can't do ANYTHING unless you say so...."

Derrick was so lost in the sight before him, that cute rear with the barest hint of a red thong between her cheeks. Those stockings... he didn't care what Chase said. Stockings on a woman were hot. Nice tight, leg stockings with those heels.... He had to shake his head as she spoke to him.

"Okay, I believe you now. And I would love to help you out. Heh, but what is it you want. I mean you just have to ask babe, and Dee will deliver. You just keep shaking that booty of yours. Oh, and if you could conjure up a nice cool Dos Equis in my hands, and your wish, I mean, my wish will be for whatever you want."

And so that is how the world would end. A wish for a nice cold smooth tasting Dos Equis. But what the hell. Derrick just didn't care. It wasn't like he was going to pick up a shotgun and try to fight off the demons that would soon invade the mortal realm. I mean, what was this, a bad B-Movie plot?!

But all that mattered right now, was a cute woman, demon or not, with a very sexy, and smack-able butt thrusting in Derrick's face. And if he got that Dos Equis, well, then lifes would be top. Okay, so no it wouldn't. He still had a book that unleashed Hell on Earth in the other hand. And he was sure making any deal with this succubus before him (Thats what you call female demons right... bah who cares.) would end badly. But if he was going down, he was going down happy.

Hell, maybe she wouldn't mind if he just reached out with his hand... and grab that butt. "Oh yeah baby. Thats what I am talking about." He said, not realizing he did just as he thought. His hand holding a nice firm buttocks of a demoness in his palm. Nothing bad could come from that. Right?

Derrick you are such a fucking moron.

"First one free," Desi reminded him as he crooned out further requests, shaking a warning finger at him while still donning the maid's outfit. "That would be added requests, Dee darling.... and that would require ME getting something in return."

Hell, he'd made a mess with that stuff. More of it still seeped out from under the stand, Desi peering under to soak it up with her sponge. "I may be bound to you right now, but that doesn't mean my powers are limitless. Being conjured here was drawn from my own reserves, and thanks to YOU-" A glare was shot at him from beneath the table with that, "...I also was borrowed from for the power to open the barrings of the Gate. So, it looks like I'll need way to replenish before I can give you anything f-"

She cut short immediately as he latched his fingers against her ass, the squeeze he added into it causing her to grind her teeth. "What... in the hell... ARE YOU DOING?!"

Desi straightened up quickly, a look of absolute fury on her face as she turned to look at him. "You really think that was a wise idea?! I just told you what I am, what I can do... and you- You just-"

She had stalked to him as she spoke, standing nearly in his face now as she glared up at him. "You don't get it at all, do you?"

Her hands flew up, grabbing his and firmly planting them against her breasts. "If you want to HELP, you go for HERE, idiot!," she hissed, shaking her head as she sighed. "I'm a demoness, Dee. I feed on all those things your mind tells you are wrong. The worse the are, the better. And right now, I am hungry as hell- so I need you to either be a twisted little bastard or find me someone who is." She smirked with that, those red eyes glimmering. "Just a fair warning though. I may not be able to stop...."
