Kicking her tyre angrily, disgusted at the piece of scrap she was forced to drive around in, Orla looked around and tried to decide what to do. She'd broken down in the middle of nowhere and there didn't seem any chance of getting the car started again but as she looked round she couldn't see any sign of life in the dark night. There seemed no option but to just strike out and see if she ran across anyone.

Grabbing her torch from the backseat, Orla picked a direction and started walking along the road. Half an hour later she hadn't seen any other vehicles on the road but there was a long drive leading up to a massive house which she decided to head up, guessing there'd be a phone there, she could phone a friend to collect her and deal with the car later.

Reaching the house Orla looked around and realised just how big it was, standing out in the moonlight like some opulent jewel. She'd been a small time burglar for the last two years, having been made redundant from her job and sick of work for the lowest pay imaginable, so had turned to breaking into houses whenever she ran out of cash. This mansion sitting in front of her was too much temptation and instead of ringing the bell she resolved to break in, see if she could find any cash or jewellery before calling for help.

Wrapping her jacket around her hand, Orla broke a window leading onto a deserted kitchen as quietly as she could. Waiting to see if anyone had heard, she slowly slipped into the room, making her way around the downstairs, her eyes widening at just how expensive everything looked, from the gigantic screen in the lounge to the obviously antique dining table.

Stuffing knickknacks into her pockets Orla looked around for a phone when she suddenly heard a door behind her slam open and the lights above her flickered on. Whirling around she prepared herself to run for it when a familiar face forced her to freeze on the spot, trying to place the person a few feet from her.

Ryan Morris
Age: 35
Height: 5' 11"
Weight: 195 lbs.
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Hazel
Body Type: Athletic.

Ryan Morris was a self-made millionaire. Do to some great investments and he was able to make a lot of money and retire early. He built a nice sized house out side of town to enjoy the peacefulness of the country. Even though he lived in the country he knew that his house could be a target since he didn't have a fence to keep trespassers out. So he designed and built his own security system. He didn't have it connected to any security company because if any one broke in, he wanted to take care of whoever himself.

One night, Ryan was asleep when the alarm started to go off. The alarm only rang in his room and he had the room soundproofed, so as not to tip off a burglar. Ryan walked over to the security cameras and saw one person downstairs. He put on his robe, picked up his gun and headed quietly downstairs. He saw the burglar, stuffing things into his or her pockets. He whipped the door open, turned the lights on, pointed his gun at the burglar's back and said, "Freeze! Hands Up! Turn and Face Me!"

When the burglar faced him he instantly recognized her face he smiled, "Orla... Is that you?"

Although she'd automatically frozen at the sight of a gun in the man's hand, Orla was all the more rooted to the spot when she saw who exactly was holding the weapon. Everything he wore screamed 'expensive' and he was muscular and handsome but something about him was instantly familiar.

"Yeah...." she replied in surprise, "I know you don't I? It's....er....... Bryan isn't it? From college? Oh my god, weird time to bump into you! I.... erm, just came in to use the phone and I thought some snobby rich guy lived here - didn't expect to see you! How are you? This your parents place?" she finished, acting as if they'd just seen each other at some party or reunion, glossing over the fact she'd been caught red-handed.

Ryan smiled when he saw Orla. He had a crush on her during college but as one of the more popular girls she always ignored him. Now, here she was just a common burglar. He had a very wicked idea... "Actually, my name's Ryan. I'm doing good and no this isn't my parents place this is my house. And, do you really expect me to believe you broke into my home just to use the phone? How stupid do you think I am? I should call the police..." She started to protest, then he continued, "But, if you agree to spend the night here as my guest... I won't call the police... What do you say?"

As he mentioned calling the police Orla started to panic, she'd been arrested a couple of times before and luckily managed to sweet talk her way out of more than a fine but the next time she was sure she wouldn't be so lucky, especially caught in the middle of a break-in like this.

When Ryan mentioned just spending the night however she calmed and gave him a bright smile, if that suited him then it was fine by her - she'd have more chance of getting someone to come and get her in the morning anyway.

"Sounds like a fair deal" she replied, discreetly emptying her pockets onto the table behind her, "Maybe we can just put all this behind us then, catch up on old times?" she added, trying to gloss over the way she'd been caught.

Ryan smiled when she agreed with his deal. If he played his cards right, she'd be staying here a lot longer than just the night. "Sure..." he said, "Follow me..." Ryan led Orla to a small bedroom near the kitchen. "This is my maid's old room. She left to get married a few weeks ago. She left some her old clothes and uniforms behind... I'd been meaning to donate them to charity. You may borrow them if you want. I think she was about your size... Anyway, I'll see you in the morning..." Ryan then headed upstairs to bed.

"Thanks....night!" Orla called to Ryan as he left for bed, surprised at how easily the night had turned her way after such an unwanted hiccup.

Dressing in some of the maid's night clothes Orla lay down and quickly dozed off, the bed softer than anything she'd owned lately. In the morning she felt rested and ready to go, part of her wondering if there was anything she could make off with first but best not to push her luck. Instead she dressed in some of the clothes in the room and tried to find Ryan in the maze of rooms.

Ryan was in the kitchen reading his paper and drinking coffee. He was wearing a white polo shirt and tan shorts. He looked up and saw Orla walk in, she was wearing a blue top, a black pleated skirt that went to her kneed and black Mary Jane Flats. "Good Morning, Orla... Would you like some coffee?" He pored her a cup as she sat down, "Did you sleep well last night?"

Finding Ryan, Orla smiled and sat opposite him, grateful for the coffee on demand.

"I slept really well thanks - thanks for letting me stay over. How about you? Now it's light I can get off as soon as you like, I've probably overstayed my welcome already - unless you fancy a chat?"

Ryan took a sip of his coffee. "I sleep well... I'm sure it was the best night's sleep you've had in a long time... You can stay here a little long her if you want... It won't cost you much... Just a kiss..." He smiled...

Orla laughed in response, certain he was just joking, but he hadn't gone and asked her for sex or anything and she had nowhere particular to be - not when she could be in a grand house in the warm drinking what turned out to be the best coffee she'd tasted.

Leaning over the table she gave him a quick peck on the lips and grinned. "Why not, for old times sake" she laughed.

Ryan smiled as she leaned over and kissed her. He had a feeling that he could keep her here without even threatening to call he cops. He remembered that she always had the nicest clothes, fancy jewelery, and expensive cars. Now, she was sitting his kitchen wearing his ex-maid's clothes that she got from Target. "So... Orla, Why were you breaking in my house? Why were you trying to rob me?"

"So... Orla, Why were you breaking in my house? Why were you trying to rob me?"

In the cold light of day Orla had to admit she was more than impressed this whole mansion belonged to the guy in front of her. She'd racked her brain and could just remember Ryan from college, someone 'ordinary' and not worth a second glance, especially when her parents were both well off and could give her everything she wanted. Since then though it seemed their lives had changed around somewhat.

Orla had been more interested in boyfriends and parties than working and had flunked out of college in her last year and, having insisted on 'hanging around with the wrong crowd' her parents had refused to keep supporting her and had made her move out. Now, after another dead-end relationship and trying to make ends meet she found herself here, with someone who looked like he could afford literally anything he wanted.

"It's easier than waitressing" she shrugged in reply, seeing no reason to impress him now she knew he wouldn't call the police and feeling less apologetic now she remembered what a geek he used to be. "Looks like you've done well for yourself but I just haven't managed to catch a break yet so I've got to get by some other way. Why didn't you turn me in last night?"

"Well, I figured that you could use a helping hand..." Ryan smiled as he took a sip of coffee, "So, would you like a tour of my place?" He was going to use his wealth to his advantage. He knew that once she saw his house she wouldn't want to leave... She'd do anything to stay...

"Sounds good" Orla agreed quickly, finishing the last of her drink. Normally she'd be suspicious about what someone wanted when they were being so generous but she wanted to see more of the place, fed up of living in bedsits and virtual slums.

Ryan took her by the hand and showed Orla his home. The downstairs consisted of the kitchen that had all of the most modern appliances; dinning room; a game room with a Wii, PS3, XBox 360, and a few classic arcade games; a little home theater with a popcorn machine outside, a exercise room, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool, living room and Ryan's office.

Then they went upstairs. They walked pass 4 regular nice sized bedrooms, before they walked into the master bedroom. There was a nice four poster bed, desk, a fireplace with an armchair before it. There was two large walk-in closets one with his clothes, the other was empty. Then he showed her to the master bathroom it was big with a shower stall, large bathtub and two marble sinks. Then the walked into the bedroom, "What do you think?"
