Could just be that I hate make-up or something but I think, IMHO, you look better without.

People look so...fake when they wear makeup. It distracts from the persons natural beauty which in most cases is better than the mask they draw on their faces every morning.

I'm not saying you dont look absolutely beautiful with your make-up, because you most certainly do and the fact that my breath catches a lot when I look at your pics atests to that. I'm just saying I seem to prefer people in general who do not wear make-up. Just a quirk.

[Edit: So who enjoys watching Sinner trip all over his own words? :) ]

I disagree really, maybe its because Im a girl, but wearing makeup is fun! Many men like yourself may be under the impression that we only wear makeup to hide what is underneath, or to try and impress... however, wearing makeup (for me anyway) when I choose to go all out is so much fun, sparkly eyes and whatnot that compliment an outfit and make colours stand out just as much as a necklace or belt might. At times it takes quite a lot of artistic skill to mix colours and blend them appropriately, and choose colours and tones that suit and compliment each other. I wear barely any makeup day to day, and usually go for that 'natural' look guys seem to think they like, One small thing that bugs me is that 80% of the time, if a women was to go without any makeup at all, when they would usually wear it, then they would look pretty bad, as 'natural' isnt clear skin and bright fresh eyes, its oily/blotchy/pimply/red/puffy etc etc and really not overly attractive for day to day work etc...

Ok, so this makes sense in my head, probably not to anyone else though!

No, it makes sense. I just really dont like make-up. So much so that I've never even dated a girl who wears make-up. I truely do appreciate and prefer women, and men in this case, without make-up.
 
I like makeup – or not. It depends on the situation. And the light. Someone who looks good at home in the evening, with nice warm lighting (that’s slightly orange) might look like death warmed over in the daylight or in a commercial office building.

If someone posing for a picture wants to look innocent and homey then maybe no makeup works, but it’s hard to look like a two dollar whore without it.

The situation and the light make a lot of difference.
 
with make up, without, i think you look awesome either way... and i have my hair done nearly the exact same way. dark brown/black, pink/red. :cathappy:

I agree about the whole accessory thing. But I personally hate lots of make up. All I ever really wear is mascara and sometimes eyeshadow and lipgloss if it is a really special occasion. I think foundation looks unbelieveably fake... no matter what. I just dont think there is a substitute for real, nice, clear skin.
