Great, I am glad everyone seems to be cool with the rules. I will start a new SRP and the title with be: Re-VAMPED: Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Neale, I think it would be great if you would be Spike. HotStuff, you can be either Riley, or Angel, whichever you feel that you like better. I did like you idea Fly, why don't you give us another one and we can decide what we like. Actually, I will start the new thread as soon as we have the plot. Okay, and of course if anyone else had any ideas , please feel free to let us know.. Oh, Neale I do want to have a lot of interaction between Buffy and Since my whole reason for getting into this whole Buffy thing was because of my huge, lust (lol) for Spike. We had discussed at one time a thing going on where Buffy is bitten by Spike... what do you think? And Fy, that is cool with Anya, I like her as she is too, keep her as is. alright, SOON, we will, be up and running.....I'm so excited

Plot ideas
Okay you want another idea.... lets see.
since the show is -the vampire slayer, but has seemed to get away from the vampire thing.
That anoying bitch(Harmony the vamp that lived with spike)(this way onother character could be added if someone wishes)finds some amulet or a jewl that increases her powers makeing her a supream vampire more powerful then all and imune to most every weapon (except the sun). She has tryed to since the first time she showed up on the show to kill Buffy because of jelousy so this is her first goal and the most important. However she is forming a legion under sunnyvill(is that what it's called??) that will emurge and try to take over the country treating the humans as cattle. she has become over cocky and is killing any of her minions who question her. this is also keeping others from going against her. To get buffy into a trap she keeps leaving clues of her plans and wearabouts (much like the riddler of Batman)and is alway nearby for every attack because she wants to be the one to give buffy her last breath.

Okay, Fly that sounds pretty good, the only problem with that is we would need someone to play Harmony, which I am not sure who would do it. I like the thought of bringing the vampire back into the thread. What if we have someone...be it a new character or Harmony,like you said find this amulet and then the vampire legion will have super power. I think we had someone that was wanting to play Glory....what do you think of instead of Harmony, it's Glory that is the "bad guy". Actually, we could have the two of them team up... but if we do that we will need two more strong roleplayers. It doesn't really matter to me whchcharacter it is... I am jst concerned with finding one or two more people.. I would also see something about Buffy getting bitten by Spike being in our plot... maybe if Harmony/Glory is going after Buffy, Spike can bite her to save her from being killed.... let me know what you think.

Kasha it's okay with me if you use Glory instead. I just spout out ideas i don't care how anyone twists them to fit and yah i wasn't thinking aobut the fact that we seem to be missing characters as it is.
As for the Buffy getting biten idea it sounds cool but the only problem i can think of with that is most every vampire is malitious and kills even their friends(but it's not my character so i'm not going to say what to do with it..)but was just wondering, would that mean buffy would fight against the scoobs or would you try and find some way to cure her or make her good???

Hotstuff i got your answer. Spike is only hurt by the chip if he intends to hurt someone. so if he bit buffy to save her he is bitting her in love so not intending to hurt her... chip no hurt. see simple enough to get around the little things.

he punched her in the face it hurt her and he intended to hurt her. Remeber he is a vamp. but if all Kasha and Neale want to do is make Buffy a vampire spike dosn't have to bite her buffy just has to be near death takeing her last breaths and drink the blood of a vampire(ie. spike)that is how it works if you know myth or watched the angle ep when Darla was turned back by Dru

Please to have faith in our abilities, effendi! If the lovely lady wishes to become, or needs to become to avoid death, a vampire... a way will be found that is true to the mythos of Buffy, with a minimum of Deus ex Machina reality-twisting. We just have to come up with a reasonable way to explain why she doesn't lose her soul in the process. Suggestions, anyone?

Resanable way to keep her soul.... she is the slayer as far as we know the slayers are chosen by the gods and none have ever been turned. Or buffy did servive a vampire bite before and came back from the dead so we could say she has a special purpose so her sould is tied to her body untill it is done. Jeez i'm usually full do ideas. but i can't think of anything...

Kasha to the rescue..lol... I will look in some of my vamp books for a logical...well not "logical" reason for Buffy not to lose her soul. I think the angle of her being a slayer could be a good reason, maybe being bitten will make her stronger, give her better abilities.. I think that is kinda good angle. Remember, we don't have to follow all the rules we have seen in the series. I think that we should start the new thread this Friday, so let's get a lot of our story ideas and all that out of the way before Friday. At least that way we will have a definite start date that we can look forward to. We need to decide collectively what the main plot will be and of coursse we will work from there. I am also thinking about getting this Buffy the Vampire slayer yearbook thing, it hasall of hepast episodes and all of the monsters and pretty much al the info about the show. I do think we should make this thread "ours" though. I can tell everyone involved is pretty creative and intelligent so thi tread should be well written and interesting.

As for fallowing the rules of the series they have gone back on things a few times and im a myth nut so i may misx a few things up here and there.
