i figured we could have a sidequest along with the main problem. or since we haven't found out who the enemy were faceing is yet this could have something to do with it

I've too much time on my hands and that dream sequence kept going through my head.. actualy it was longer

I miss one night and the thread erupts!

Okay, first of all, Kasha - I think the thread is going superbly. There's a nice story developing; the characters are interacting well...and it's believable which to me is about the most important thing.

Fly - I loved Tera's dream sequence in that last post
As for Buffy's turning; I understand how annoying it can be when the mythology is not properly observed, but the beauty of myth is that it can be reworked and perverted in much the same way as the laws of science can be in science fiction. Buffy is the Slayer - maybe she doesn't need to be buried and turns much faster, in the same way as she heals faster.

Oh and...*hesitates but decides to go ahead* plenty of people aren't buried in unholy soil on the show. For example that guy who was Buffy's old friend who had cancer and wanted to be turned was killed, given a proper burial (we can assume, since he was buried in a graveyard) and still rose again...Sorry for knowing that, but the unholy soil clause would be kinda hard to work (in the story here *or* the show), so I felt it was worth mentioning.

Anyone else remember that episode in the first series where Buffy actually *does* become a vamp when the little boy in the coma makes the residents of Sunndydale's nightmares come true? The Master (remember him?) was free of his prison and able to bite and turn Buffy in an afternoon. The whole of reality was warped. So I figure that if it makes sense *within* the mythology - or if it suspends our disbelief - then it's okay to do. If you can make it work, anything is permissable. Don't mean to offend - that's just my take on it.

yah i know things don't have to go that way i'm just picky, and have nothing better to do. (just hopeing i can go back to work sometime soon to get a real life again)

and thanks for the coment on the dream i started to confuse myself a bit on it didn't know if it would take i'm just glad no one seen it before i fixed it, it was like 100 lines or more i just hope the tread will go far enough so everyone understands what i'm trying to do

I think the thread will go far enough. When all the characters start mixing up a bit more then I think the plot lines will develop themselves more than they have been with the scoobs. For my part I figured Angel could have this whole crisis of conscience thing going through the story; so he can interact with both sides...

I have a huge number of vampire books...way too many...lol. I haven't read them in quite some time, but the whole unholy dirt thing sounds about right. I also agree with Jay, I think as I have stated before... we can do what we want here since the story belongs to all of us. I too am a stickler for detail but a minor change in mythology isn't gonna send me crashing over the edge. I have yet to read the new posts for today, I come here first to see what's happening...but I will post after I get back from reading our "dailies".

Well my little celery stalks...

I have posted for Buffy. Neale, I am thinking Buffy should be hostile, (makes for passionate sex! *wink) I have gone that way with her for this last post, so if she has to get pissed to turn, or get pissed and try to bite Spike, or however you want to play it, you lead, I will follow.

Fly, I will post for Willow tommorow if you need me to, I will of course read and wait. Lovely job so far.

I know that Dawn2 is a busy gal lately so I am thinking that we won't be seeng to much action from Dawn. She will pop in when she gets the chance I am sure.


We should try to plan a time when all of us can be on together.... let me know what is good for ya'll. I can try to be pretty accomadating, my schedule is a bit more open on the weekends. Just let me know...

i think a good idea for buffy would be .. Cause of the mixed blood not all vampire properties transfer over.

say mabey the sun won't kill her but it dose hurt. since buffy always wears a cross around her neck they don't affect her but she can change into vamp form i don't think her strength can go up much more but make her like Blade from the marvel comics (just an idea) any other way all i can see is she will have to fight her friends

Fly - that Blade idea is killer; that's just how I figure Vamp-Buffy should be! Of course it's up to Kasha, but we could get a whole plotline emergine with the Scoobs trying to 'cure' Buffy; or she could secretly enjoy it so much she tries to keep it from them - the potential for this story is just vast! Perhaps Angel will be able to sense it in Buffy despite her efforts to hide it?

all vamps can tell each other by site for some reason just as buffy can tell them by sight
but that was explained in the movie.. if she gets too close to them she get a peircing pain in the abdomen

Hello my lovely little lima beans,

I think that Buffy should be turned, like you guys said, something like in Blade. Obviously she is more than a mere mortal because she is the slayer, like she has almost all of the vampire strength and not the weakness, for blood, to sunlight, to crosses etc. I think because she was in Spike's lair when she was bit that should suffice for unhollowed ground. So she doesn't have to be buried. I think she should just get really ill now, and then after she gets overr her illness then she will have even more strength, she could have a hard time adjusting to this new strength. She of course will have more accute senses.

Well, taht is what i think, let me know what ya'll think. I want everyone happy with the mythological side of this as well.

Well i guess i can let go of some of the Mythology... I mean i just read the Shadow Saga(i highly recomend it) 3 books about vampires and they really twisted things to hell and back(literaly and metiforical) i liked that so mabey i should stop being stingy about mythology and legend and have a more opened mind

sure playing with willow sounds like fun.... but, i don't always play soo nice

I have an idea that will come in later for Darla. I think I will also play or try and find a Dru for this idea.

I was thinking of interacting with Willow and Tera trying to get them to use magic to make her more powerful and resistant to sunlight or something like that. Maybe threatin one of them to get the other to do the magic.

Tell me what you think of this one. Then I will work on it after Darla finishes up with Angel

Let's just remember. i am playing 2 parts, I don't want to wear myself too thin. No Tera has demon blood in her her say great grandma was a demon so her grandma half her mom 1/4 and her 1/8 or something like that

spike proved she wasn't evil when he atacted her but i've other thoughs ...
Dru proved he can go against his chips programing that it's all in his head so if he though Tera a human his subcontious would hurt him
