Buffy sighed and put her head on Riley's chest. She wished the world would just go away for a little while and leave them alone. Life would be so much easier. But then she heard Giles and looked up to mouth "Later" at Riley before sliding from his arms and going over to where everyone was gathering at the table.

She wondered at Dawn's smirk to her as she passed by but then decided to just forget it. Little sisters were not ment to be understood.

Buffy grabbed Riley's arm as he went to sit down and pulled him over to stand by her. She didnt know if it was Angel's prescence or what but she wanted to present a united front between them for everyone's benefit.

Giving riley an angry look as I walk past."Good to see you oz,how ya been?" I sighed."I guess all I can say,and this is more then I should be telling you,but I still love her and I hate riley to death for it," I whispered.The demon flashed in my eyes.If she were a few years older, i thought looking at dawn.I shouldnt have shown myself to buffy.I glared hatefully at them both.

i could tell she didnt like I was confiding information in this little girl,but she seemed trustworthy.Strange,she didnt smell entirely human.I ran my hand through her hair and smiled, "We'll get along fine kid,"I told her...

Buffy glared after them as they left. "Oh, well," She thought,"At least we can get down to business now."

"Ok, I want to know everything about this demon that you do, Oz. Dont leave out any detail no matter how small it might seem. I want to explore every possible weakness and know where to attack it."

"If you say it got loose than that means someone caged it and it also means that its possible to do it again."

Zander spoke "so this is the part where we all look through the musty old tomes and someone calls for pizza" he said the last with a pointed stare at Riley "and as some of us arent on military budgets that would be you." Zander then turned to Giles "ok I'll have all the ones with dirty pictures in them"

IC: Riley glanced at Xander and smiled. He was always go for a laugh as he could lighten the mood of just about every situation.

I looked at Buffy and smiled at her before turning to listen to Oz who was telling us what he knew of the demon.

"-it, this time it was a she destroyed an entire city to find a certain artifact, one capable of capturing it. After it destroyed the city and couldn't find it it went beserk and leveled another village. Right after the someone showed up with the artifact, capturing the demon but after the demon was captured the person disappeared and the demon was never heard of again, except in children's stories, until now. Oh, did I forget to tell you that this demon can change its appearance so it can look like just about anyone."
