It's so disconnected from reality, though. He rants about China, slaps on massive tariffs, finds out he can't treat chairman Xi the way he treats a lackey working in one of his casinos, chickens out, makes a big speech declaring victory.

Declares victory about everything.

Meanwhile everyone is seeing inflation, a weak jobs market, measles outbreaks, women dying because of bad (or absent) maternal care, ICE goons shooting USA citizens dead, a ballooning federal debt, the stability of the currency endangered by attacks on the central bank, abuse of federal prosecutions to harass political opponents, health insurance costs skyrocketing, billionaires bribing the White House for favourable treatment by regulators, suppression of embarrassing news stories by threats of frivolous anti-trust actions . . .

None of this changes unless the MAGAts in the legislative and judicial branches grow a spine and stand up to the Pig.

As a matter of fact, things will get much worse if the Pig's MAGAts passively allow him to rig or cancel the midterm elections.

I find it interesting that the Republicans draw a line with him trying to invade Greenland, but don't seem to give a damn that he's destroying their own country.

I hope he destroys their party.

After Nixon, the Republican Party took losses, but they weren't that bad, mostly because their representatives in Congress refused to defend his criminality.

Agree with premise of the OP, but for the benefit of the low information swing voters.

I'm afraid the nazi goose steppers will never abandon trump, the more Hitlerian he is, the more they diddle themselves thinking of the horrors he will inflict on their enemies.

So they're a lost cause, you can't talk a Nazi out of being one.

Put this through the extremely thick heads of the swing voters who think both parties are "the same". I can't roll my eyes hard enough.
