Bunny's Stuffie Corner

One of my best friends sent me a link this morning and told me her company is hiring. Nobody else has gotten back to me yet, so I filled out the application and gave her name as the person who referred me. Maybe I'll at least get an email back from this one.

Job searching sucks. I figured out at one time that it takes a year to find something. Be persistent. Don't give up. Someone out there needs exactly what you have to offer.

Got an email from the company my friend works at. Despite saying I had years of both work at home and call center experience, I was told I was not selected for the position without even an interview.

What the fuck are these people even looking for?

A unicorn? Either that, or they weren't actually hiring. Some companies do that, say they're hiring when they're not. Or worse, say they're hiring when they've already got someone, usually someone related to a higher up, to fill the position.

Apparently so. If it weren't just an entry-level position, I wouldn't be so annoyed about it. Like, I have years of experience doing both things you asked about, and I know someone at the company. The least I could've gotten was a courtesy interview if y'all were actually hiring!

Also, this sort of BS is the reason I've stayed in pso so long. I get tired of it, start searching for other jobs, get fucked over relentlessly by these dumbass companies, and then get irritated and say, well, guess I'll just keep doing pso, then. It's a vicious cycle, and I'm SO done with it.

We need a hug reaction.

Damn. I'm sorry, bunny. 🫂🫂🫂🫂

So I've been extended a job offer, contingent upon drug and background checks. I also have to get another computer. (It's a work at home job. My mom is gonna finance the new desktop.) Hopefully, everything works out. 🤞

While I was on the phone with a blog customer earlier, a wasp that had somehow gotten into my house without me knowing flew directly into my face and stung me on the cheekbone. 😮
Ouch! How badly swollen is your face?

Did you know that they actually sell stuff for insect stings these days?

My aunt taught me to use a baking soda paste on insect bites and stings. I don't know how much it actually helps, but I always found it soothing.

Actually very little! It started swelling at first, but I put ice on it and then some hydrocortisone creme I found in my bathroom, and you can hardly tell anything happened, except for a little redness.

I didn't know they sold stuff specifically for insect stings! That's good to know. :)

I called my mom maybe 30 seconds after it happened, like, "Can you believe what this stupid wasp did?" She suggested Benadryl, but I didn't have any, so I did Zyrtec instead. Between that and the creme, and I think it worked ok. :)

Awesome, I'm glad you were able to take care of it.

Drug and background checks cleared, so I am officially employed. I start next week.
I am do happy for you, Bunny! Good luck with this new job, girl. 🥰

As for the wasp, one flew underneath my t-shirt last year and sung me. I WOULDN'T touch it! I ran home and asked my mum to take it off me, as theres noooo way I would ever touch that thing! 😱

I once steped into a bee nest in the woods. Well that was something! My ankle felt like a needle case lol. My bf and my friend had to remove all the bees from me, cuz I wouldn’t touch it. I get so manny stungs back then my foot was like ballon. My bf asked me Are you alergic to bee sting? He asked cuz my sister is. I told him I have no idea. He said we will find out soon I guess. I will never forget that LOL! I am not alergic to that sting, thank God, but I would NEVER remove the sting myself. 🤭

Glad you ended just with a bit of redness on your cheek! *hugs*

It was my bday few weeks back and I usualy don’t feel like talking during that time, simply because its never what I would like that day to be. And while my bf made me bday brrakfast, bought me macrons in shape of hearts and gave me money to buy whatever I want, I was still sad, because eventho I do apreciate his effort, he didn’t give me the only thing I actually want or wanted from him and thats his time. Me being his priority.

Daddy gave me nothing at all. That was a bit dissapointing too, becasuse last year he gave me a rose flower, so I kinda expected one this year as well. We had nice time together the weekend after my bday, but there was still this little sting he didn’t get me anything at all. Guess I am a bit complicated and hard to please as well.

I grew up in family where bdays, xmas, name days etc was always a big thing. My mom spoiled us with bday cakes, bday parties and lots of presents. It was day when I felt special, it was MY day. I guess I kinda crave that now, but its never the same as when I was a kid. Not with my bf nor with Daddy. Am I too hard to love or something? Is it really so much to ask from my bf to miss my company or for Daddy to buy me that flower or a chocolate? I don’t want big presents, but nothing at all is kinda, uhm, I don’t even know how to name it lol. Sometimes I think I live on completely diferent planet than most people, because I would never fo things they do. I love Daddy a lot, but it left a sting in me.

I always shower people I love with gifts, with atention, with care. Is it really that much to want the same treatment back? 🤔
