Learned helplessness. Start miscommunications when they make you the go between.I really wish my parents would stop putting me in the middle of their bullshit power struggles. But they've been doing it to me my whole life, so why stop now?

I just discovered that Canva has free tarot card templates, and that there are several sites out there that will let you upload your own tarot cards to print. o.o Anyways! Only person I could think of who might share my excitement over this discovery was @BiBunny . Not sure if you will though. 
My favorite tactic was always malicious compliance.

Guess what, guys! I have a blossom on my squash plant! And some sprouts of carrots, lettuce, and spinach. (Admittedly, the tomato plants are on their last legs, and the cucumbers and asparagus and cilantro haven't done shit, but progress is progress, dammit.)

Haven't got the internet behaving well enough to play around with it yet. And the actual printing of the cards will be a minimum of 26 bucks. But it's still exciting to try and look into, and maybe I can find a cheaper card printing service out there.
I mean, I could try and play around with it at the library, but I sorta live in the Bible belt and all...
Things are finally starting to settle down around here. Just ya know, internet is now worse than it was.

Thank you! I got through the first day.
It's for a new store that's opening in the area. We spent today and will spend tomorrow doing all the online training courses. Then, Monday, we start setting up the store.
They're gonna be running two shifts during the course of the set-up, and I'm hoping like hell they put me on the evening one!!!!

I'm not sure, but I'm definitely going to try!
I'm excited about tomorrow. My friend from Stitch and Bitch/Junior League is having me and our other friend, the owner of the metaphysical shop where Stitch and Bitch is held, over for dinner. I'm looking forward to meeting her family (husband and MIL, no kids) and having what sounds like it's going to be an awesome meal.
I made a buttermilk pie to take for dessert.

Dinner was amazing! I have the most fantastic friends, both IRL and here in the Stuffie Corner.
I left the pie with my friend when I headed out last night (on purpose). I'm making myself another one now, as frozen pie crusts always come in packages of two, anyway, lol.
My squash plant is gonna have so much squash! The tomatoes died for some reason (likely because my dad wouldn't leave them alone). We replanted more, though. I'm gonna get a cucumber plant, as the cucumber seeds didn't do anything. The carrot tops are springing up, though.
Monday, we start putting the store together at work. I've never done that, but I guess I'll figure it out, lol.
Making Pride fish for Pride month. Will put a pic here and also in the crafting thread.

We've been having squash quite a bit lately around here, since the roommates plants have been producing so much. She also planted tomato plants all over the yard, it's kinda crazy. No tomatoes yet but lots of other veggies.
