Oh...I quite understand...We must have our priorities straight.

I had been planning on these for a while and had my budget set for them. My first priority was new furniture...Then the tats...now My sister's wedding this weekend...Then riding school, then a weekend run to the mountains

I am so looking forward to getting away this weekend, but I know it is going to be a long one.

I will get some R & R when I take off to the the mnts.. I just do not have any dates scheduled for that, yet.

Well...sad to say I will not be the one taking lessons. As much as I would like to, the only bike I could handle on my own would be a small one (450 lbs. or less). I don't like small ones...lol...I likem big (750 +)! Therefor, I will have to remain a "bitch" and ride on the back. I have all the gear: helmet, chaps, vest, jacket, gloves, boots (well I need a better pair with lower heels), rain gear....Just not the bike...lmao

I have a friend drop his in a parking lot with me on it. He got off ok but I remained under it! Damn that hurt! Burnt my leg from the tailpipes....As much as I tried, I couldn't even push the bike to get it off of me. It hurt so I figured that would have heightened my senses and my strength, but in reality, it didn't. That is when I figured I didn't need one of my own. It took my friend and two bouncers to get the bike off of me. Scarey feeling to be trapped and being burnt more and more while waiting for them to get the bike up.

See I believe that anyone who has a bike will drop her at least once. It isn't a matter of "if", but a matter of "when". My luck would be my being out on my own with no one around to help. I think I will stick with my plan of being a "bitch". LOL Besides, I love holding on and getting to see all the scenery

Thats a good thing. .BUT in retrospect I don't think I could lift a Ultra-Classic full dressah ( said in my best bahston accent) She never rides alone tho. Always with him or another. That is the key I think. Sorry to hear about your leg. It's doesn't take much and burns suck.
I also agree with not 'IF' but 'When and how bad' like they say SH*T happens. Ride like your invisible and no one sees you.

I have seen many reports on the news recently about bikers getting killed in accidents. I have also noticed how many idiots are on bikes. They drive like they are on a racetrack! The weave in and out of traffic, speed past you like your standing still on the highway (and we are doing 65+ mph). They get right behind a car then swerve to go around. No wonder so many die. They give bikers a bad rep.

On the otherside, I have also seen idiots in cars who get right behind a bike, too close, cut bikers off, try to race them, etc. I call them fridiots....There are so many fridiots on the roads today. One has to wonder if they read a handbook and learned anything at all?

Good evening everybody! Hope we're all doing fine, especially a certain butterfly.

Anyway... tattoos, always been something of an interest of mine, haven't actually gotten around to getting one yet. But I'm only 22 so there's plenty of time (especially since I plot and scheme to be immortal, mwuhahahaha!) to get one... thing is I don't want something clichéd and/or common, so like any good villain I'm bidng my time until an event happens that galvonises me down to the local parlour with the hail of "Ho there fine merchant, imprint upon mine hide the deisgn of my choosing and make it quick!" I'm tempted to have an image of Stormbringer/Mournblade put somewhere. Upper arm perhapse? *shrugs* I know not. Maybe one on each arm with the name down the blade? *ponders*
