My wife and I been toying with the idea of getting a vibrator. We were looking at the Hitachi Magic Wand and the Wahl. I was shopping around the other day and looked for something in the mall. Didn't find anything that appeared worth buying. Nor did I care to buy one of the cheapies in Spencers where I was surrounded by 16 year olds.

I finally stop in at a Walmart and lo and behold--I saw something that looked like a Wahl. It was a Conair massager. The price was $9.95. I figured--let's give it a try at that price.

I brought it home and introduced it to my wife. She was eager to give it a whirl. As we started love making, I reached for it and switched it on. I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I began to work around her lips then inward. Before I knew it she was gyrating, bucking, gasping, and moaning. I thought maybe it was too much--but she quickly assured me that she enjoying it.

Anyway--we are very happy with this little toy. It may not be a Hitachi or a Wahl, but it sure does the job. What a great introduction to a vibrator! Easily obtained, doesn't raise an eyebrow, cheap, and very effective (for us anyway). Additionally, it comes with a perfect attachment that you must purchase separately with the Wahl (spot tip). Also according to my research on the web, it will work with any extra attachments that are made for the Wahl.

Sounds like a trip to Wally World might be in order....

Glad you found something that you like.

I'm also looking at the Wahl and Hitachi and bought the Conair. Unfortunately, I did not have as good as an experience. Maybe mine was defective (the low power setting WAS more powerful than the high one), but I felt it provided just enough power to stimulate an eyeball. I'd say it's vibration is equivalent to a couple of AA batteries.

It probably is a good one for first-timers though, and the price is right.

Preferences in these matters is highly personal, I'm sure.

Reviews do not seem to indicate that the Wahl is not an awful lot stronger. The Conair is generally rated as a fairly strong vibe from what i have read.

I would not characterize the setting as low or high in intensity. The difference seemed to be more in the frequency of the vibration than intensity.

I compared it directly with a C cell dildo/vibrator, and the battery unit didn't come close.

Maybe you need more stimulation than my wife, but she is not a first timer. She REALLY liked this unit and I'm sure many others will too. I just think that this unit will provide fun and satisfaction to many who might not otherwise venture into a place where the other units may be obtained, or are not inclined to make a bigger investment in something they are not sure about.

It sounds to me like the Hitachi might indeed be the best choice in your case. We probably will get one ourselves someday for variety. Either way--none of these devices are going anywhere near my eye!

Conair quality is much more variable. THe current one we have has the power of the Whal, but is much noiser. I liked one my first ex brought with her; she stole it from her mother who bought it at Sears 30+ years ago.

So the wahl and the conair are comparable in power ReadyOne? I was led to believe the wahl was a lot stronger. Hmmm...

Depends on which one you get.

The Conair people are supposed to sellling a clone of the Whal. But Twian and generations of re-engineering may have caused them to drift.

So if you get a "perfect" Conair, you should have something close to a Whal.

EASY RANGER!

Wal-Mart employees aren't even allowed to date (offically)

Sam Walton would turn over in his grave if Wally World stock "the necessities of life"

Thank goodness for the web-stores.

Agreed. Some of the Wal-Mart rules are pretty harsh on their employees. Some of the benefits are nice but sometimes they cast a pretty heavy shadow on what they deem to be moral and immoral.

But as far as getting a massager that make the Mrs. buck & heave with orgasmic bliss from Wal-Mart...I applaud it!
