Buying Asian Rugs

Oriental rugs.

What do you look for in a good asian rug?

I don't know.
I see them alot, and I really think they're beautiful, but I just haven't been at one with a Rug yet.

I haven't had an opportunity to purchase an asian rug

But I find them very interesting, pretty, decorative and expensive.

Not that I am afraid of them or anything like that.
We have one at work, and I walk on it everyday.
How do you all feel about Asian rugs?
