Hi Jen. Thanks for the reply to my question re playing rugby. Maybe the thought popped into my brain because of the movie Crash... Not the recent one, but the other with James Spader, which came out a few years back. It is a David Cronenberg film, which deals with an issue called imprint vulnerability. Humans, like all animals, have occasions when they're especially vulnerable to forming new imprints... Kind of like the baby bird that thinks a human hand is its mother. For adult humans, these imprints can take place in moments of intense physical or emotional trauma, and often are sexual in nature. The film's premise is that the main character, in the moment after a bad car wreck, has a sexual experience. This causes him to form a strong connection between sexual satisfaction and car crashes. At first he thinks he's alone, but soon discovers a whole community of people who, for one reason or another, are in the same circumstance.

I love the film, and am a huge fan of Cronenberg's. It isn't for everyone, though. Somehow, and I can't say why, I think you might find something in it.... Please let me know if you do. If you watch it once, and like it, watch it again and listen to the director's commentary. It is a hoot.

As for the last few pix with your ass, well... It looks mighty fine to me. In the pics, anyway, it looks a bit pale. I think that, with a few well placed spankins, it would get all warm and pink.

PS: I knew a choreographer who developed a style where the dancers, all nude, would run full speed at each other and collide. Sounds like rugby to me.

Thanks for recommending the movie. I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds like I'm going to rent it sometime It appears to be quite interesting.

You know, only a few days ago, S. managed to produce such a perfect handprint on my behind that I practically begged him to get a picture of it (it was such a perfect print, all flaming angry red on white). And he would have, had my batteries not been empty. Next time that happens, I'll be sure to get a picture.

It sounds like you're going with the leadership even when it doesn't make sense, I've been there for sure. While it sucks to do so, if the leadership is even half decent they'll see that their decisions suck and change things to how they should be going... Hopefully! In the meantime hopefully some of your newbie teammates are learning new things and finding out what their limitations are.

Oh btw... you can tackle me anytime! For practice of course.. yeah... practice.

Thanks a lot to the both of you for the Rugby advice. I appreciate it a lot.

First of all, we technically do have a coach, who is one of the longtime players of the local men's team. However, he is currently serving in Iraq. So we do end up having to coach each other, with the more experienced players showing the newbies what to do.

It's actually kind of exciting to watch the new players in a game. I can literally feel them improve with each scrum. Interestingly enough, the position we currently have the most girls for is hooker. When I play lock or flank, I can seen them struggle firsthand, and it's great to see them win their first ball (it's less great to be kicked in the face while locking, but it happens ).

Speaking of number eight... ours gave me a killer bruise on my elbow, and I'm still not exactly sure how. I think she rammed her head against it each scrum. It fucking hurts.
