And my apologies, sometimes I forget my vocabulary's (in all humility) rather large and somewhat obscure (especially when dealing with non-native speakers/readers . . . revise that, it tends to be worse when dealing with native speakers). Attending this thread is like being in a theatre nearby where I live. It's a small stage and they do wonderful performances - great plays, great acting, lots of enthusiasm, incredible stage setting with hardly any money to spend and so on. I love to watch almost any play they are performing (apart from some dialect stuff) because it's always a pleasure to be there. But how adequate would it be to say "nice performance" afterwards?

Okay, so I just got back from dissecting a big pregnant rat. I tried not to be a pussy about it, but I must confess it left me a bit queasy.

At least I didn't pass out like some other girls in that lab. I tried to be enthusiastic... I cut and peeled and poked and found the kidneys and the ovaries and all. Consciously, it didn't affect me, I didn't go thinking gross! every two seconds. But the rat did smell rather nasty after a while and I got a bit nauseous and broke out in cold sweat. Since I'm not about to take any anatomy classes, that's just fine, I think.

See, it's the same the other way round though. Everyone is taking the time to stop by the thread and comment and compliment me, and I'm really running out of answers to give except for "Thank you". I never know what to say when people are being so nice to me, and it makes me feel really bad.
