Cainhurst in Darkness (closed)

The hunter shook his head kissing her back and chuckling. He turned her around quickly and deftly tying up the lace of her corset dress with ease. He made sure she was secure and then turned raising his eyebrow as he took her in.

"Some thing tells me you werent just talking about the dress" The Hunter stated raising an eyebrow "so do you need another feeding before I go?"

A promising little grin passed across her features at the confirmation that he'd gotten her little comment for what it was.

She turned and shook her head when he asked if she needed another feeding. "I'll be fine. I would be afraid of taking too much blood and weakening you before a hunt. I'm alright, and besides, I should have a few additional handmaidens here soon enough, regardless." She tilted her head, a new thought occurring to her. "Perhaps I should join you in going to the village? We could ride in together, and I could begin recruiting once you leave."

The hunter rose an eyebrow at her offer to ride in with him muling it over before deciding he would like the company. He glanced out the window judging the cold outside before turning back to her and smiling.

"I would like that it would make the whole thing more believable any ways" The Hunter said pulling on his heavy cloak and turning to her "I got a carriage ride up here any ways I assume the lady of the castle would have some thing akin to that as well?" The hunter asked raising an eyebrow and opening the door leading out of his room.

Ophelia chuckled and pushed open the door before leading him down out of the tower. "Of course. I'll have one of my men prepare the carriage." She clapped her hands at the bottom of the stairs and a man appeared. She ordered him to prepare the carriage, and he disappeared again in as much silence.

With that done, she headed towards the large wardrobe near the front hall and selected a thick cloak. It was wine-purple, rich and dark, forming a sharp contrast against her skin, and lined with thick, streaked grey fur of what appeared to be a wolf. And the hood still bore a few of the creatures teeth.

She looked perfectly aristocratic, standing there in the dim light of the hall in her luxurious velvet and silk dress, and cloak. She held her hand out to the hunter. "Come, the carriage will be ready any moment now."

The hunter rose an eyebrow watching as the man made his lead. Previous he had not seen any working and tending to the castle yet it was clear she had servants both male and female. He pondered this as she got dressed curious about her past and her origins. She was a noble lady that much was clear and had been before she had been turned. He decided to ask her a few questions when he got the chance but for now he just stood his hand on the pummel of his sword.

"Sounds good" He said following her down to where the carriage was waiting. He opened the door for her waiving off the foot man and helping her in before joining her. They were barely seated when the carraige took off leading them towards the main village.

"So how did you come by this castle?" The Hunter asked raising an eyebrow

Ophelia sat comfortably in the carriage, her brow lifting in surprise at the question.

"It's been in my family for generations. Of course, after I was changed, the generations... stopped. I've been in control of the castle for, oh, a century or two, now. My servants have been working for me for generations, themselves. They are, of course, aware of what I am, but they are loyal. They've been raised to be so. And their lives are better with me than they could ever be back in that filthy little village, so they are not inclined to betrayal."

"I see" The hunter said as the carraige rocked and they continued their journey "It is so rare to see people untouched by the madness in Yarnham or a beast such as your self who isnt mindless and full of nothing but rage I am not sure if it is the cold or the area or even you that makes such a thing possible but every one here is the closest to sane that I have seen in a long time"

"It almost makes me worried to have you drink my blood or to visit often I am from Yarnham I seem to be immune to the madness and illness's but I am not sure if it is in my blood all the same" The Hunter said frowning and looking out the window "I trust we shall both put each other down if the time or need is ever there"

Ophelia waved off his concerns, apparently not bothering her. "I wouldn't worry. We'll deal with that if we come to it, hm?"

The carriage arrived in the small town. Visitors were rare, so the people of the village all came out to see what was happening. There were whispers within the crowd about the Hunter - it seemed they were expecting him.

Ophelia smiled her mysterious smile, and motioned for the Hunter to get out so that he could speak to the gathering crowd and introduce her as their new lady.
