Campus fun (closed)

Sure let's watch some.

She went and got some drinks and laughed a little because all she had left was beer.

I might just need to go to the store tomorrow. Ocoulto beer okay?

Michael shrugged before he smirked slightly. "If I didn't know better, I would have said that you were trying to get me drunk," he said shyly, teasing her as he doubted that was her intention. He exhaled as he looked thoughtful as she used the remote to pull up the first episode; unfortunate that only the first season was out, with the second season supposedly starting around Thanksgiving of this year.

She laughed and carried out a couple of beers and some chips and sat down.

Yeah right... Like they ever had to happen.

Michael chuckled as he took the beer, twisting the lid off with a flick of his wrist. "I have to admit, some of the ideas Hollywood has come up with would be awkward at best in real life... like telepathy... being able to read the minds of students... in class... or loved ones... or potential.... lovers," he said wryly, purring the last two words deliberately to tease Melina. They had come close to that sort of pleasure, but hadn't quite reached it. "I'm sure you've come up with some... interesting fantasies," he remarked wryly.

Prasinus

Alright Michael... Spill it. This can't be just because my sister left me the condo or my being legal now so what's up?

She turned to watch him. She almost missed the restrained timid engaged worried about his job Michael. This new Michael took all the fun out of it. She was curious as to why.

Michael exhaled softly before he allowed a small smile to flicker over his face. "What, only students can have summer jobs now? The only thing that I missed during mine... was someone to share it with," he said wryly, shrugging idly. He wasn't going to mention that the home he had recently inherited... had two miles of private beach... where few people could see what went on there. "Although it was quite lonely," he remarked wryly, fairly certain she would be very curious.

Prasinus

Michael... You have changed. From that fun somewhat timid worried about his job if he went too far and worried about his relationship with the bosses daughter to this flirting innuendo filled completely different person. Why?

She sat back a little watching him but stretched her legs out a little along the couch slightly towards him.

Michael exhaled slowly, knowing that she'd be able to notice that he tensed at her question. "Are you sure you want to know? It isn't pleasant," he said seriously, though he didn't want pity for what had happened.

Prasinus

Spill it. Not sure how I feel about this change in you.

She watched him listening.

Michael closed his eyes before reopening them. "I took off a half year after... we separated... spent time with a group of people that I look at... well, like cousins. They have a pretty large family... seven sisters, and until recently only Joley and Elle were somewhat single, being the youngest. However, someone tried to set fire to the home and studio of one of their close friends by the name of Judith. Her sister, Lexi, was with Elle after her honeymoon... in the building. I don't know who or why they did it, but I do know that when Elle's husband Jackson got her out and I managed to get Lexi out... half of the studio collapsed on my head," he said seriously, though he didn't want pity for what had happened. He had suffered second and third degree burns over 55% of his body and had a severe concussion after they'd managed to get him free.

She just sat there stunned not sure what to think or say. She knew that head injuries could change people and so could traumatic events. Now she was apparently seeing it.

What did she have to say when you got back?

Michael closed his eyes before reopening them. "She thanked me for saving her life, though she's like extended family more than anything," he said shyly. He look out of the window, unaware that his hair shifted, revealing faded burn scars on the side and back of his neck, going down into his shirt.

Prasinus

She bit her lip and drank her beer not sure what to say or do.

What about your boss and his daughter what did they have to say about it?

Michael snorted. "My boss cares about getting as many students through his school. And Violet... she'd think I did it to spurn her despite the fact that they're like family to me. Besides... I haven't told anyone about what happened... until you," he said shyly as he took a deep pull of his beer. "You know... if Sea Haven had a large enough hotel, I'd go for a day trip... though I doubt they have a large hotel. Maybe a bed and breakfast style hotel, though I don't know who I'd take with me," he sighed softly, glancing at Melina from the corner of his eye.

Prasinus

Why not just stay here. Like a little vacation isn't it? You do seem like you want us to... Be like we were before only... This time seems like there is nothing to stop you... Right now but you.

She finished off her beer as she sat there. The only thing distracting her now was the arrival of their dinner. She quickly dealt with that and moved back to the couch with the food on the coffee table before them.

Michael blinked a few times before blushing deeply. "Um... would you find it odd... if I admitted... to being..." he said shyly as he blushed even more, unsure if she'd be put off by the fact that he was, in fact, a virgin. "I wouldn't mind staying... here," he sighed softly, closing his eyes as a soft sigh escaped.

Prasinus

To being...

She raised a brow surely he couldn't mean what she thought he meant even though she was too.

That's fine there is the pool and most of the neighbors enjoy taking trips this time of year where there is less chance of noisy kids and teens st their favorite places.

She motioned to the food and smiled.

Little bit of everything.

Michael exhaled softly as he chuckled. "I don't mind kids so much. It's the toddlers that tend to drive the parents crazy. I know from experience, though I don't have kids of my own... I have babysat for friends," he said shyly as he shrugged.

Prasinus

She just nodded and reached to get a little food.

Let's eat. Unless you had something else in mind?

She smiled a little trying to like this new Michael.

Michael knew his cheeks and neck were likely a deep shade of red as he unintentionally blurted out the words in his mind. "We could feed each other," he said shyly as he exhaled sharply, his eyes flickering away in embarrassment.

Prasinus

She looked a little confused and humored by his idea.

What's wrong Michael?

Michael cleared his throat before he spoke. "I was very flattered when you initially.... were attracted to me... still am, honestly... though you've only grown more beautiful," he said shyly.

Prasinus

You seemed just as attracted then too Michael. As I recall you had to make yourself stop graduation night.

She crossed her arms curious what else he had to say.

Michael exhaled softly, shifting on the couch, trying not to mention of a certain... detail below the... specifically his... belt. "If only you knew that was as hard as it is now," he mumbled shyly; he was very hard at the moment, almost uncomfortably so. He wasn't sure how to say it, though, as his birth parents had died when he was five and he basically got shuffled around from family member to family member until he ran away at seventeen.

He wasn't sure how to explain that he'd actually managed to walk in and get a Teaching Assistant job with barely any experience, which had led him to take over from the previous teacher, who had then never come back to work, which then led to the woman before him.
Prasinus

She listened with a brow raised.

It doesn't seem all that hard for you to resist doing anything right now?

What is the difference between then and now?
