Can a man have multiple orgassms?

Its only happened on a few occasions but I've been able to keep going and cum a second time. Based on my experience, and assuming you mean one after another without stopping coitus, yes. But very infrequently.

Based on men I have known over the last ten plus years, two occurrences, with two different guys. And I can confirm that it was kinda uncomfortable for them both.

My SO said he kinda half came, with some ejaculate, and then it sort of stopped and he wasn’t sure what to do, so kept going. He said it was verging on painful the second time.

It isn't really about time, it's really about what happens during that time. And what happens that makes it a refractory period is that arousal is absent and can't be restored until some kind of neurological reset is complete.

Typically it could be anything from twenty minutes to some hours.

The trick to multiple orgasms is to not have there be a refractory period at all. You just stay aroused and keep going with the same boner, and come again pretty quickly.

What have you tried?

It's exceptionally rare that a guy will just experience this without exceptional genes, talent or training. It's not likely to "just happen" unless you have someone who is so thrilling they keep you aroused, and they know how to maximize the chance of getting you off without letting you come down and have that refractory period.

And even then, it isn't something they can just do to you. You have to be able to bring intentionality to it and employ your own skill, too.

It's learnable. Not easy, but do-able with practice.

To get an idea of the kind of skill you would need, try working on reverse Kegels while you're aroused and getting stimulated. That's the opposite of Kegels, where you flex your pelvic floor muscles. That's very easy. Reverse Kegels are about deliberately relaxing those same muscles. Not just relaxing them, but gaining enough control over them that you don't even allow them to involuntarily contract when you come. That's super hard and takes a lot of practice. A lot.

An easier alternative is to hold a Kegel so hard and so long, while you're coming, that semen doesn't come out. Sometimes if someone can achieve that, they might stay aroused and be able to keep going. They might not.

Ideally you'd work on both of those techniques, and gain full control over your pelvic muscles at both ends of their range of tone, from holding them at full-flex to absolutely relaxed with no involuntary spasms.

That's a start.

Depending on how deep into the previous century you go, you’ll probably find that guys used the refractory period to either go rent another VHS tape or to download another video.

The periods thus got shorter as the internet connections improved.

Happens only when I’m extremely aroused but I can fully ejaculate without orgasm. Always surprises my partner when she receives a full load and I keep pounding her hard with a follow up soon after.
