Can we use text to speech AI ?

I have some stories that I want to turn into audiobooks, but the voice is a problem. Can we use AI voices for the audiobook, or does it have to be a human voice?

I have some stories that I want to turn into audiobooks, but the voice is a problem. Can we use AI voices for the audiobook, or does it have to be a human voice?

It's (probably) against the site's current AI policies and would likely get rejected. There are some that have been allowed in the past and are still available, although it's not clear if they got grandfathered in because they predate the policy update or if they're planning to just leave them there until someone reports a complaint (a likely scenario if the site has no idea which is which and doesn't have the time to check them all).
