That’s a much bigger issue in the USA, so for this thread you’re just wrong.

In Canada there is Chinese money parked in Vancouver and Russian money parked in Toronto and some Montreal real estate.

Of course there’s Syrian, Turkish and Iranian money here, but Anti Money Laundering Rules are tighter in Canada and Interest Rates are lower than the USA so foreign cash hides here in smaller amounts, they say. ( who knows?)

Canada has boomers that are staying in their homes and working past 65. “ The Big Stay” is the main reason housing stock is tight… older couples living in all the family homes….along with low productivity in Canada’s construction sector. Really low. Look it up. I live in a huge house only because theres nothing newer smaller cooler in the better neighborhoods.

The stinky pakis are just taking the blame. And yes, they are smelly. They should take a fucking bath. We have lots of water here.

Where are all these immigrants coming from?

In the U.S. they mostly come from Mexico and Latin America, but I doubt that's so in Canuckistan.

Actually we have a lot of Mexicans here. They generally work in the agricultural industry, migrant workers. It's weird being in an area heavily populated by Mennonites and finding a Mexican grocery store.

I know, it's just people never think about Mexicans in Canada when we actually have a fairly thriving community here. There are some making their way up here due to high unemployment in Mexico and an increased need for workers here. NAFTA increased the number of Mexican workers here, legal and illegal.

In my uni years lots of kids had to go home for harvest, it was what you did.

If you don't believe me I strongly suggest you call and make an appointment with a doctor here, and once you get to see them request a mammogram. You will wait a couple weeks for a phone call or letter with your appointment date. My routine one is over a year wait...
Do also want to contact my dental hygienist and make an appointment?

It took me 6 months for an ultrasound to confirm that i have a kidney stone i’ve known about for years.

Good thing it wasnt a tooooo-muhr!

But the health care fuckup isnt immigrants fault.

Its cutbacks instead of raising taxes and greedy doctors keeping their numbers low to keep their fees up.

Health is provincially run, so my province, we can't keep doctors. Big shortage, they stay about 2-3 years then move to larger centers.

Not saying it's immigrants fault, it's government for bringing more than our infrastructure can deal with.

I just got my mammogram reminder and have an ultrasound appointment in less than a month.
