Thanks, Lovelies.

I'm ok, I think, for the most part. I have viral meningitis (the not so serious one, apparantly) If this is "not so serious", I'd like to know how the bacterial version makes you feel. I have all the typical symptoms and aches and pains. I'm not going to bore you with all the mundane details.

I've been at my doctor every day, either for more tests, or for an IV. At the moment the biggest issue is dehydration, because I can't seem to keep anything down. (I've lost 8 kg's in 8 days . . . )

And we've done two spinal taps, a MRI and a CT scan. Now we wait for results. The reason for the tests, is that the initial spinal tap showed some irregularities with my white bloodcells.

That's me, in a nutshell. I'm supposed to go to France for Christmas. My doctor is saying I should still go - just take some adult help with. I'm not so sure. I really do want to go - what can be more magickal than EuroDisney over Christmas for a 6 year old? *sigh*

I'm doing much better. Headache is gone, mostly. Although it does come back and I am still taking meds for that. My shoulders and neck is very tender and aching. The worst part at the moment is that I don't have much energy. And that's because I can't keep anything down . . . I've lost a lot of weight. It's scary.

At least fluids are staying in. And I've been able to have a few banana shakes in the last two days.

I am doing much better, thank you. Still have shoulder pain, and neck pain. And I get tired easily. But at least the other symptoms are gone.
