Some of the tribes people had gathered to see her off as she began her quest. She waved good by then began to walk into the dark woods. After about an hour of walking Crystal came to a clearing in the woods and decided to stop to rest. She removed her bow and quiver and set them on the ground next to a fallen tree before sitting down on it. She adjusted the top of her leather armor as she sat down and looked around the clearing. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary she decided to relax a bit and grabbed some dried fruit out of her pack and ate some of it as she rested.

Talon looked around in the dark woods, trying to find the best place to raise a forest demon. there were settle tell tale signs of their passage in the shadow world, o at least the reflection of such in this world. He found a large clearing, adn noticed the way small clumps settled into the soil in thress, so there was one near in the shadow realm.

Quietly talon walked a wide circle around the clearing, writing runes with salt every 7 paces as he made the large circle. At the last emblem he drew his Grahm in the soil, linking his circle with that of the clearing, but leaving the inner crcle of his making un broken.

Just as he begnan his incantations he saw movemnet across the opening. On the far side sat a beautiful woman. Long dark hair flowing ove rher hsoulder in locks, and dark leather armor

His incantation continued, adn soon the sky over the clearing darkened adn all the shadows cast by the sun sem ed to peel off of all the plants adn trees. HTe shadows swirled adn inot the center, the warrior looked up in terror, bur she was sealed in now, she was locked in the circle, the link, the portal, the gateway.
