We are looking at Great Dane Rescue, the problem is ALLLLL the paperwork, the phone interview of 45 minutes, the Vet interview they do with your vet, and still have house visit pending due to major reno we are finishing. Makes us want to buy a puppy.

Seriously. It shouldn't be so hard to give a dog a good home if you have one.
 
Rescue is the way to go, Here are two of mine, both rescues. I foster for two different rescues and everyone I fostered was a great dog I could've kept any of them

That is still very normal. Even though you know that you are sexier, hotter and better, you will still have a bit of emotion because it is an EX. I am sure we all feel like that at some point.

He's an ex. That fact means that you were with him at one point, and cared for him, maybe even loved him. As a result, you're going to feel some level of annoyance or sadness and anger, when you see him with someone else.

Even when you know that the new person he with is a dropoff from you, it's human nature to feel the feelings you had for your ex come back up when you see them, and as a result be annoyed or sad or angry.

All you can do is look forward to bigger and better things and partners. :)

Well it was a coworkers reception. The actual wedding was in Mexico, so this was the home side party.

It was very lovely, but I always feel wedding receptions feel so forced

Wedding receptions always seem to me like people just think they are the biggest excuse to get drunk and act stupid. lol
