Ya'll stay cool. I'm heading to the mountains to see my neice's new baby and watch my sister play grandma again. This is the way I like dealing with babies. I get to play with them briefly and then, at the first whimper or whiff of a dirty diaper, hand them over to somebody else.

Yup .... doing good ... we've kinda slowed up on the boards and spending more time with each other. I mean now we've got a babysitter more often and going out

SB, Sir ~ Thank You for the phone call this morning. I am looking into what a visit in a couple of weeks would entail. It is actually looking promising. The weather here will keep me used to the temperatures you are used to in SC. It is in the nineties again today and will be tomorrow, along with dew point in the seventies. Kayte- I have to start classes on August 22..but official move in day is the 17th...we basically have a week of partying before classes...including a school sponsered beach fest!!

It will definatly be awhile before I do the parenting thing and I like the idea of being able to hand them off to someone else when they get fussy or unhappy. I'm the youngest on ALL sides of the family so I have no little ones that I take care of...with the exception of a few 2nd cousins that I see about once a year...

I was feeling domestic and MADE curtains for my dorm room...went and bought the fabric...sewed the curtains...put decortive trim on them...now if I could only figure out what else I'm going to do to my room...hmmmmm


it's about my bedtime so I'm off to my dreams

Hello everyone! It seems that I always get here too late to see anybody, but since it's been awhile since I've checked in, decided to anyway. We had some major thunderstorms today, with lots of rain (still not enough). Hoping that others here had some relief as well. Managed to get some school shopping in, without getting too soaked...... And I have never seen so many different pairs of athletic shoes!!!! Can someone explain why we need so many kinds??? and why it takes boys so long to pick the right pair?? Geez, I thought girls were bad about that!!
