Snooze, Sir ~ Hope the picnic is as wonderful as it sounds. Just got home myself. Went to a long lunch after Mass with a couple of friends. One of which is undergoing chemo . She was hospitalized this week due to a very low white blood count and a viral infection. She is out now, but has more chemo to go. The three of us had a great lunch.

Red ~ I'm supposed to protect Him? Don't know what from either. Hmmm.
It would be great to meet you, the thread celebrity. Hope it works out, that I can get down there again soon and that you and others will be available to get together.

Donick ~ Nice to see you on the thread. Hope you are back often.

SC ~ Nice to see you again. Hope things are settling down and the parties haven't exhausted you yet. Glad you will be around frequently.

Who's been having fun?

I have.

Anyone have any parties? Anyone have any luck? Who did what?

(In no particular order) I went to a party on the lake, went fishing, played poker, worked on the car some, entertained a young lady (what a bad girl she was), rode a few miles, played some music, went to another party at a NASCAR driver's house, saw some sights, wrote on my screenplay, made chocolate chip cookies, burned the cookies, ate the burned cookies anyway, let the dog out, let the dog in (repeated as necessary), watched Sunday night Fox, planned the horrible demise of my horrible computer, cleaned up my house, got my house messy again, did some research, wrote a letter, checked the mail and showered as necessary.

I think life is like a box of chocolates; get enough of it and your teeth will eventually fall out.

As for it being hot...well thank god I live close enough to the beach so I can cool off there when the heat gets to be too much.
