I hear you about that. Gee, the price of gas did go down today. It is $3.99 a gallon. And people are thrilled about it.

The gas prices are crazy indeed and I agree with you Kayte. The thing is, if it stays around $4.00 a gallon for 2 years....by then everyone will be ok with it. $4.00 hurt but I guess not enough to really change our ways....

Hi gopack ~ Welcome.

Isn't that the truth, it does seem it really needs to "hurt" before we change our ways. There has been some change, thinking of the truck plants closing to be retooled. Still we do need to be knocked around before it sinks in. Hope you are enjoying yourself on Lit.

I'm really going to miss the beach. I can feel my tan already fading.

We're about...two and a half hours? away. We get up there a few times a year

Been a coon's age since I posted in this particular thread... Life's been busy. What with trips to LaFortress, presentations for various groups, road trips to Atlanta; Wilson, NC; Charleston, SC, people coming here to see me... Seriously, I've had one free weekend since May 2nd and I'm booked through Labor Day Weekend and Dragon*Con.

Dayum, I need a vacation! *LOL*
