The prosecution aimed too high. First degree murder? I doubt it was pre-meditated. No DNA, no fingerprints, no blood, no murder weapon. It was all circumstantial. I believe she was involved but reckless homicide seemed like a better fit.

I agree that the aim didnt need to be as high but they could have still could
have convicted on a lesser charge that would HAVE involved prison time.

This is why you can't get juries in America. I already have heard someone say they should lynch the jury. Who wants to take this bullshit after trying to do their duty as a citizen?

They did their duty. I agree. Dosent mean that they still didnt have their head
up their ass while executing their duty. The prosecution MORE than made their
case.

Yes but I dont believe the defenses theory that George found her
after drowning and Casey merely had NO idea what to do but to
go along with a massively unecessary cover up...for what was an *accidental* drowning.
That dosent pass the laugh test. I appreciate the point regarding the
law in Florida.

I appreciate and accept differing views and I believe that Everyone IS
entitled to a fair trial. However, 31 days...says FAR more than any
*totally unproven and only half-heartedly presented* claims of sexual molestion can by the defense can!

No it dosent. I believe that she is though. More than enough to convict.
 
She'll probably get time served for the 3 years she's been waiting in jail, so she'll probably be out on the street the day of the sentencing.

Her life is ruined though, no way she's ever gonna have a semblance of a normal life again.

During the OJ Simpson trial, many people said he was acquitted because he bought the best lawyers. That can't be said here. Anthony's lawyer was an idiot. She was acquitted in spite of him.

I know, it's sad, everyone knows she's guilty and I all think we're secretly praying for someone not in their right mind to handle this for us.

She has never been happy and never will.

She is a very mentally ill person and she will do something like this again.

She has the compunction to commit crimes, she does so unthinkingly.

We have not heard the last of her and I do believe in the next few years she will hang herself, figuratively.

Yes, if you call having book/movie/interview/licensing deals worth
thousands to millions for a sociopath-- not having a normal (or "beautiful" life)
bad...then yes, she will have a bad life. Unfornately, I believe the above to
be her ultimate fate. :(
