Celebrities we really miss

- John Belushi - He was responsible for one of the coolest and funniest movie-line delivery in the history of film.

Jake : No.
Elwood : Yeah.

There are many actors and actresses that you wish were still here to fill our evenings with their works, too many to remember, but will always pop in here and there when we grab and oldie to watch.

John Candy was one of the first to come to mind, sweets. :(

Personally, I still get teary over the loss of Ladmo (which will mean nothing to anyone who didn't grow up in AZ from the 50's to the 80's). Just trust me. The world lost a wonderful man when Ladmo (in the top hat) died.

Christa McAuliffe ~ School Teacher/Astronaut

I doubt she compares on a celebrity level with most mentioned here, but in 1986 I was a little girl with huge dreams. She was going to "outer space"! I wanted to be her in the worst way. Still do.

Freddy Mercury.

Queens ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!

Snoopy, waiting for the hammer to fall

Jack Buck, who was the radio voice of The St. Louis Cardinals baseball games for years. Baseball around here just isn't the same without him. Some of my fondest memories growing up were of listening to Cardinals games with my grandparents. Jack was a veteran of baseball and a veteran of WW2 and a just all around wonderful man. He was a winner.

Ah, Miss Scarlet. You bring back memories. Whenever I hear a sports announcer all I can think of is, "He's good, but he's no Jack Buck."
