Challenge - How Distinctive Is Your Writing?

Just when I think I've got a handle on it daylight saving kicks in or out (or both) and screws me up again.

Don't even talk about daylight saving. It's an evil, evil thing.

*snicker* these are the truest words she has ever typed :D

''So, her tomorrow is my day after tomorrow, right?''

BWAHAHAHAAA!! :D
Shut up!

My friend somewhere in the US has major fun every single time she sees me online by getting me to guess her time. I know she is 13 hours away from me and behind me, but I end up guessing wildly off the mark every single time! What does it mean anyway - '13 hours away and behind'?

It's her f'd up way of saying 'there's 13 hours between us, and i am behind you' :D

I google time zones and the 1st website you hit on tells you the current time in all the capitals of the world :D and you can search further to figure out other places. I have various time DIFFERENCES between parts of Canada and here memorised, and i have I ingrained into me from childhood ;)

I just have major trouble with people in the US, particularly the west coast - it'll be mid afternoon for me and it's still yesterday for them.

It means she is sneaking up on you. Watch out! ;)

Yeah, I wanna spend all my daylight right away.

I don't understand how it can be tomorrow morning for you!

I have a world clock on my descxktop, which helps somewhat.

I have a couple of writing partners, and I am just getting to know them. On is in New Zealand, one is in London, and I am in California. Between the three of us, we trisect the world pretty evenly. It's evening for one of us, wee hours of the night for another, and the third is in the middle of a workday.

*le sigh*
my guesses will be totally uneducated.

I've read them all in the PMs as they came in and I still can't remember who wrote what.

You're in the author's list. Tell me you're the wildcard.
Or did you actually use proper caps and stuff? :D

How long do we have to guess each group?
2-3 days? I don't want to stretch our collective attention span by dragging it out too long, but that's only a third of the entries and it's a lot of words for people to slog through in a short time period.

Any thoughts, all?

*whimpers* You ARE gonna post the others concurrently, though. Right?

I was planning on it, but then it seemed from some posts that people wanted one at a time. Again, it matters not to me.

Yes, please. Have to see the full picture so that my lame-assed guesses can be marginally less lame.
