Heh, well as many of you know, I was supposed to be out on the high seas right now...living it up as a sailor and enroute to Japan. However..***** decided to throw me a curve ball.

Woke up Sunday morn with apparently, a retina detaching from my eye...and so after much running around, I find myself home now, with a patch over my eye, from surgery about 11 hours ago.

So it seems...I'll be around a couple of months longer to bug you all

I hope you feel better...What caused it? Wishing you a speedy recovery

Bleh well another day has arrived. No real sign of improvement, but I won't really know until the gas dissipates from my eye. Dealing with less pain so thats been nice. Ummm yea lol missing work. Actually had a dream of returning to work.

Well the eye seems to be ok looking, I suppose. Still no sight...just see blurs of light when I focus with just that eye.

I was focusing on the fact that you said there was less pain. I hope that's still the case.

Yes that is still the case. Day one of not taking the Vicodin. I still have some leftover but hope that I won't need it. It made me a little loopy

Well not too much to report on today. Body is still weary from the healing and still no sight, though I get the feeling the bubble may be shrinking...so might only be the matter of a few more days.
