There may be a sticky thread, Morlog, where only moderators post in a telegraphic style all that boring stuff like "A post moved between threads, from nothing but poetry to nothing but bullshit, per author's request." Such a log thread would be useful to moderators and it would keep things more open. The notes can be still discrete, you'd use your judgment Such log would give participants of this board an idea of what's going on, what are proportions, etc. Most of the time most of the participants would not read Morlog but occasionally, and it would simplify things, there would be less to explain, etc.

Interesting, yes, though I do wish people would quit with the value judgments already. I don't move anything on the basis of it being "bullshit." Something might not fit in a thread, might belong elsewhere. I don't see anything positive coming out of me even thinking in those terms.

We never even got to the uh bread. Our kitchen pipes are frozen. It's freakin -15 here (before the wind chill!) and I have frozen pipes. I had to do the dishes in the bathroom sink, which totally grossed me out.

Angeline, you are overreacting. I am just proposing a public log of moderating activities. That's all. Otherwise, I didn't write anything of what you think that I have. In my joke there were just titles of threads ("Nothing but poetry" and "Nothing but bullshit"). I didn't have quotes around those titles in order to avoid quotes inside the quotes surrounding the whole log-like entry, but these titles were in italic, and bold. And it was not a moderator judging anything but the (fictitious) original author. So, relax.

I am never a party to all those sooooo emotional pseudo-discussions which have nothing to do with poetry. I don't waste my time like that. But you guys have your fun, keep going after one another throat (especially when it belongs to a moderator ), don't mind me, and don't get soooo excited when on an occasion I mention sometimes that a pitiful pretense of a poem is pathetic.

I still think that the log idea is an interesting one. It's a new idea for me, so I'll talk with Angeline about it and see if it could be a good solution. Thanks, Senna.

As usual Jawa you have a good core idea and absolutely fuck it up by running you mouth. You didn't need to explain your "joke" because everyone "got" it, it is just that it was stupid and not funny. I hope they consider your idea valid inspite of you being an arrogant, obnoxious, rude, hurtful, old man.
