Comedy is based in pain, and this is proof. I was doing a sketch on stage that involved me cutting apples with a hatchet (I also wrote it, so it was all my fault). Let's just say it could have been much, much worse.

But I finished the bit, bleeding all the way. The audience thought it was a gag...

I'm looking at my hands. I have scars all over them, and I can't remember where most of them came from. I do have a recent burn mark that will soon make a nice scar. I accidentally bumped the burner in the stove when I was adjusting something I was cooking, but that's probably too gross right now to show off.
