Maybe I'm wrong, but I assume this means that, when one posts a photo, the only person who should be in the photo is the person posting. Maybe it's okay if the other person's face isn't visible. Threads can be closed or even deleted when the mods decide that rules aren't being followed.

Yes, unless there is very clear written consent from the other person on the picture.

I missed the picture, but thank you for being considerate.

2. It is not alright to download photos posted on here without the express consent of the person who posted it. Most people here are posting for the fun and exhibition of it and the relative anonymity of the site. It’s a place to express ourselves in ways we can’t in real life. Which means, you downloading pictures breaks apart that exhibition and anonymity. Don’t ruin this for everyone.

I just wanted to take a moment to comment on this. As annoying as that not-so-bright troll was, it's probably a good thing to get an occasional unpleasant reminder of where we are. This is a free, publicly viewable site. Most of the site traffic is from visitors who are not logged in and do not have an account here. On the "story side" of Lit, we are notified every time one of our stories gets a view. We have no such tool here. I would expect the numbers to be similar: At least 90% of the time someone views one of my stories, that person is completely anonymous. Every one of my stories here has been "stolen" and re-posted elsewhere on the internet, without my permission. And, apparently, someone has been using my pictures and GIFs from this site and posting them onto other sites, claiming to be me.

I don't want to discourage anyone from posting here, but it's probably something we should all keep in mind.
