Chicago Litogether II

Yes, I have read some of them, and the pictures are great, but I dont know anyone in them, so it doesnt tell me the whole story.
But it did look like a great time was had by all.
Wonder if I should go buy a camera for this trip..

There were several cameras flashing last year. Some of us went around with disks and downloaded everyone's pictures. We have a photobucket account also ... but it seems they didn't like some of the pics

I sure hope it is warmer than this come March.

Oh and a slow Sunday morn grind for heat ;)

Warmer would be good...of course, warm to you is freezing to me. I'm just not used to that kind of cold anymore.

Don't hate me...I hope there is snow...I'd just love to see it again...but then I get to come back to hot & sunny. :)

With wind chill, its -31 right now. Thermometer says - 5.

And snow doesnt bother me a bit, its just days like this where its so cold. I dont think anyone can get used to this kind of cold.

On the other hand, where your at it gets like Africa hot in the summer, Tarzan would be inside in the air conditioning.
I never did get used to that kind of heat either when I lived down there.

Repost.........

Hey - sorry to interrupt the groping here - ahem.

Iced Cold Lemonade $22.00/gallon

My thought is to get some soft drinks, some water pitchers, etc. Then stick to the chips and salsa type stuff, maybe a few of the other things. It'll add up fast price wise, and since this is happening right after supper we probably don't need tons of food. We can save our own food for the rooms later?

Thoughts?

I would be more than happy to chip in for what ever is decided by the group.

I do plan on having some of that famous pizza delivered myself tho, and a trip or 2 to Boobys and Portillos, and have a cooler with a variety in it sitting in my room.
Its been awhile since I was last in Chicago , so I want to take in a few things while I am there.

I have reduced myself to rabbit food now...so I can eat like a little piggie when I'm there! :D

My thoughts? I'm loading up my bag with my own food before I come up there!

All those prices are fairly typical.. and don't forget there will be at least a 20 percent service charged attached along with tax.................

but it's all good.. and like I said on the other thread, by ordering food from the hotel's catering department that means you will also have a member of their staff either in the room or checking in on the room periodically..........

Eating food is never a big concern for me ever......... I'm cool with whatever is decided and I'll pitch in.. just tell me how much....

I looked it up...there is, thank god, a Starbuck's just around the corner....so just point me in the direction of the closest Portillo's...then on to Booby's...and Riggio's....oh god, I am ravenous. :p
