2) I have friends that live in Chicago that could be potential victims of the violence.
3) As a past visitor to Chicago I could have been a potential victim of the violence.
4) I NEVER said I lived in Chicago, I said I lived in the suburbs.
5) I do care about the violence in other cities. But I do not have a personal connection with anyone in those cities so they do not hold the same interest to me.
6) I want the same spotlight cast on Chicago violence that you cast on your so called white, christian, right wing, mass shootings.

Actually it's up to the citizens of Chicago to effect real and positive change. And looking at their new mayoral choice it seems they don't care to effect real, positive, change. I do not live there or even in Illinois so how do you propose I make positive change there?

I care because I actually do have relatives that live there as well as several friends. My wife happens to have been born in Chicago. I have already stated in other posts that I lived in the suburbs. So my experiences regarding Chicago are as a visitor.
