hi everyone. i was thinking about getting circumsided as my foreskin can occasionly become too tight, leading to discomfort.
i just wanted to know what the pro's and cons are when having sex (both intercouse, masturbation and oral). if anyone has experience before and after that would be great!
thanks

When you say 'occasionally', do you have any idea why? I mean, does it only happen sometimes? Does it only happen when you're less flaccid or actually erect - i.e. the penis is bigger?

The foreskin itself is pretty elastic, more so when it's constantly 'exercised' (for wont of a better description) by being moved back and forth - which is something that should be happening everyday when you wash under it... you *do* wash it every day, don't you? ;)

It's down to you, obviously, but tbh I can't imagine life without mine. It keeps Mr Happy nice and snug and protected, a little lube under it when I'm masturbating and wey-hey!, SWMBO likes to play with it, and all it asks from me in return is that I keep it clean and fresh.

... and I've just realised you asked for before-and-after experience.... woops.

yeah i wash every day! couldn't not!
its just every now and then my foreskin gets really tight and won't pull back when i'm erect, but after a couple of days its fine

You need to talk to a good doctor about options OTHER THAN circumcision. Don't go in there saying you want to be circumcised, but rather you're concerned it's too tight sometimes and would like to find out if you can try medication (usually a topical steroid cream that thins the skin in the problematic area just enough to do the job, but won't damage your nerves or anything), and other possible non-surgical options.

If you really do have a problem, don't hate your foreskin or the extra pleasure you get from it, and aren't excited about the severe pain that usually comes with recovery from circumcision, try non-surgical options first. You can always get it cut off later if you want, but you can't put it back once it's gone!

circumsion is actually not a really big deal, ur sore for a while, but nothing that drugs can't fix. Trust me from experience, that its alot better then having a to tite foreskin

Tell that to the guy a month or two ago who was in so much pain he could hardly move. And others who have posted here wondering if it should be so painful. People have very different pain thresholds and tolerances.

I'm not saying no one should be circumcised when there's a problem with their foreskin. What I am saying is that circumcision is risky, painful and a lot of guys wish they'd done something differently, so as with any other condition, people should investigate ALL of the treatments and advocate for the most conservative, effective ones first with their physicians. 85-95% of males with unretractable or tight foreskin DON'T need to be circumcised because it can be cured with a topical steroid, stretching or a very minor procedure in the doctor's office.

You wouldn't promote amputation for a broken ankle that can be fixed with a simple cast and physical therapy, would you? How about a lobodomy for headaches that can be resolved with medication? If not, then why advocate for circumcision when the problem can most likely be fixed with a cream and/or simple procedures?

See a urologist. My son could not retract at all. The urologist prescribed a topical steroidal cream to be applied 2-3 times a week over the course of 6 mos. It worked in less than two months.

Easy, painless. No snip snip.

ok thanks everyone!
much has been taken on board.
how come you're wise, beautiful and sexy Sweet Erika? most people arn't even one of those!

Just wanted to echo Sweet Erika's comments that you should look into solutions OTHER than circumcision. There are quite a few things you can try before you have part of your penis cut off!

Usually the steroid cream will work, or even just do a little 'stretching' everyday to gradually relax the tight opening.

From a girl's point of view, I'd be really sad if my partner lost the most sensitive piece of his sexual organ.

Do anything to avoid getting cut!! Like other's said, there are options. I wish my hubby had a foreskin to nibble ;)~

better living through chemistry

Do anything to avoid losing it first.
Cutting it off is the only non reversible choice.
It should be the last one.

There now, feeling better?

I still have mine after some adhesion problems that were resolved by a simple procedure.

welll.....

You can borrow mine if you really want to nibble my foreskin, but CAUTION!! It Doesn't End There!!

Circumsision? Yikes!!

Whoa, stop, cease, desist, halt.....NO!!!!
Okay so I still have mine and enjoy it. But from what I have been told, the glans, or head of your penis becomes desensitized when it is circumcised and exposed to continuous friction from clothing. The result is a decrease in sensitivity during sex which reduces the pleasure for which it was originally designed. If you go barefoot your feet get tough and don't feel it when you step on stones. Your cock does the same thing.
Don't fuck with the design, it was designed to fuck with. If it is tight either fuck more or jack off more.

I used to have the same problem a few years ago.
do the following:
1) Pull the foreskin back and wash it daily if you already do not do this.
2) When almost erect, practice pulling the foreskin back over the head and masturbate with the foreskin pulled back.
3) When almost erect, practice pulling the foreskin back over the head. Then put a condom over and masturbate.

If it does not hurt, then see if you can repeat steps 2 and 3 above while fully erect..

It takes time to get the skin to stretch over the head and it hurts like hell at first :( .. you may want to see a urologist if it hurts too much when not fully erect..

ps.. makes sure your significant other is not at home when doing 2 and 3 above ;)

You have gotten some good advice here already. I will just add that a guy who had sex in all 3 conditions put it like this:

sex with your original foreskin = 10

sex circumcised = 3

sex after restoring your foreskin = 7

Just to give one person's perspective.

Keep your original equipment!

Regards

DO NOT let anyone talk you into ruining your beautiful manhood. Sex with an uncut cock is exquisite.
