You went off on Trump et al not immediately installing Rodriquez/Machado in office in Venezuela.

If he had, they’d be dead by now unless we sent in a couple of divisions along with them. You know, like we did in Iraq and Afghanistan. You remember how well that worked out, right? We’d be categorized as an invader/occupiers. Not good optics.

Trump et al learned and found a way to think outside that box. Good old fashioned extortion works great. Think of the horses head in the producers bed in The Godfather. You noticed how quickly Delcy’s attitude changed from confrontational to accommodating?

The entire leadership superstructure of that nation is corrupt to the core and will have to be dismantled, but dismantled one peg at a time and then rebuilt from the bottom up, not the top down. A midnight extradition here, a curious death there, remove a peg and then replace it. And the key is the military.

Restore the financial underpinnings (this is where the oil comes in) so that the expats can return so that free and fair elections can take place. And if Rodriquez/Machado individually or separately or some other candidate prevails sobeit.

To recap, NO RULE OF LAW leader would survive more than a few heartbeats in Venezuela as it exists today. The military, especially the military, has to be rebuilt before constitutional rule can be restored.

So in the future try to refrain from those pre-mature orgasms. ;)

‘We are in charge’: Venezuela interim leader Delcy Rodriguez rejects Trump’s control claim; 7 days mourning declared
Venezuela’s interim leader Delcy Rodriguez on Tuesday firmly rejected claims by the United States that it is now in control of the country, and also announced a week of national mourning for those killed during the US military operation that led to the capture of President Nicolas Maduro.
Speaking on state television, Rodriguez said Venezuela remained sovereign and was being governed by its own people. She pushed back against statements by US President Donald Trump, who has said Washington is now “in charge” and that Venezuela will hand over millions of barrels of oil to the United States.

All speculation…. Except that the US is considered by many to be “the invader”…. Especially with no go forward plan. Sorry but Trump’s dementional musings are NOT a plan.

The Pig's imperialism and gun boat bullying is not going to improve the security of the USA. The USA has a long history of trying to set up puppet regimes in other countries. We always fail.

This is just another debacle initiated by the Pig.

Better to let the ChiComs run it. :)

It's a reach but it might work. :)
Not at all, the rest of it is a challenge but I'll rise to the occasion as you well know.

Damn it, that lead line works but the only word in the English language with no rhyme is "Orange." Fuck you, I'll find a way around it.

The king did call his wise men all
To find a rhyme for "W"
When they had thought a good long time
But could not think of a single rhyme,
"I'm sorry," he said, "to trouble you."
