Megan Sullivan coasted down the alley behind her brother’s house. Pedaling past her dark blue Jeep Liberty, she cycled into the back yard and up the gravel path by the pool. Dismounting, she went through her cool down routine without thinking about it; instead let her mind wander across her current situation.

Megan was thirty eight years old and currently jobless. Just two weeks ago, she had mustered out of the Marines after twenty years. She had joined right after high school, forgoing scholarships and college as an act of defiance against her mother, who had continually pushed her to follow her own footsteps; college, marriage to a doctor or lawyer, children, and all of the social activities that her mother seemed to crave, none of which held any interest for Megan.

Instead she had become a career military police officer; she had traveled the world, building her own experiences. However, it had come to an end, her discharge had been inevitable, and she was now thrust back into the civilian world. She had dreaded moving back in with her parents, trying to decide what she should do with her life. Thankfully her older brother Sean had offered the use of his guestroom while she transition into what most people would consider a normal life.

Megan finished stretching and pushed the bike past the pool to the four car garage that sat to the north of the house. Entering through the side door, she set the bike to the back of the structure and headed towards the door to the kitchen. Stopping at the threshold, she released the straps on her shoes and kicked them off. Her sister-in-law Shelly was not near as happy to have her as a house guest as Sean was and seemed to find fault with almost everything Megan did.

Shelly was exactly what Megan’s mother had wanted her to be. They had grown up together; Shelly just two years older and she had latched onto Sean almost immediately. Her brother had followed the path their family had laid out for him, and was now a successful partner in a law firm, but he had always seemed to have a soft place for his little sister. They had kept in touch, first via mail and telephone, then eventually e-mail as Megan traveled the world and Sean traveled the corporate ladder.

She had last visited them almost ten years ago, right before she had been deployed to Iraq for the first time. They had spent Christmas together, it was also the last time she had seen her nephew Jay. He had been eleven or twelve at the time, and was very taken with the idea that his aunt was a soldier. He had latched onto her as she had faithfully done her daily exercises, often riding his bike along with her, and continually asking questions. Sean had told her that she had been the subject of almost every class report, speech and activity that Jay could somehow fit her into too.

The last time she had seen a picture was when Sean had sent her a video of his graduation from high school, three or four years ago. Again, she had been deployed, unable to obtain leave to come to her nephew’s graduation. She had watched the movie, at eighteen he had grown, was a tall dark haired kid, handsome and seemed to really be enjoying his life. Sean had written that he had been accepted to a college in California, but she hadn’t spoken to the boy since.

As she stepped into the mudroom between the kitchen and the garage Megan began to strip. Opening the front door of the washing machine, she pulled off the bright yellow biking jacket she wore. Throwing it in the machine, she followed with the sweaty compression shirt.

Then she stopped, standing straight, and looked through the open door into the kitchen. She realized she thought she had heard the water from the shower running when she first entered the house. She paused, listening, but did not hear anything. It had to have been her imagination, she knew that both her brother and sister-in-law were at work, and like the last two weeks was completely alone after her ride.

Stripping off the rest of her clothing and starting the laundry, Megan strode nude into the kitchen. She listened again, but the rest of the house was silent except for the soft whir of the air conditioning. Grabbing a large bottle of water from the refrigerator she headed towards the main floor shower, directly across from the room she had been occupying. As she walked through the house and down the hallway, she paused at the large mirror next to the front door, studying herself in its reflection.

She was at average height, with an athletic body. She had collar length blond hair; with which she was wondering what to do with it, now that there were no regulations regarding its length or coloring, but as of yet had not decided. Her blue eyes stared back at her, and she frowned slightly as she studied the small scar on her left cheek, a reminder of one of the worst days of her life, when part of a Humvee she had been parked next to had exploded, sending shards of shrapnel into her vehicle. Though except for the blemish she thought she was pretty, with full lips and a slightly upturned nose which was peppered with freckles.

As she looked down her own body she saw her breasts, small and still perky, the same freckles that adorned her nose and cheeks present on the curving slopes. Her stomach was flat and transitioned down to her waist, adorned with a belly ring; her first rebellion against the entity that had governed her life for twenty years. She had gotten the piercing the day she mustered out, a quick stop on her way to the airport in Los Angeles.

A small patch of neatly trimmed, almost translucent blond pubic hair covered her mons. A small tattoo of a sun adorned the right side of her pubic mound, her first one and the one that still made her blush when she revealed it. She had others, not as inked as a lot of her fellow Marines, but she sported the mandatory eagle, eagle globe and anchor on her right shoulder, a quarter sleeve comprised of a crescent moon and stars in a blue background on her left upper arm extending over her shoulder, and several other smaller tattoo’s.

She turned slightly, so she could check out her ass, what men called a perfect heart shape; she had taken care of her body over the years and she smiled, knowing that she still got checked out on a regular basis. Her eyes then slid down to her legs, muscular from running and biking.

Looking back up at herself, Megan smiled and turned to continue down the hallway. As she approached the door to the bathroom, she saw it was shut. Pausing in confusion, she stared at the door.

Megan had taken a job waitressing in a bar, as she tried to find out her direction. Therefore, often didn’t arrive home until well after two in the morning, and rarely was awake when Sean and Shelly left the house. She remembered using the bathroom when she had awoken, but could not remember closing the door after leaving the little room that morning when she had left.

She considered entering her room to get her gun, but she knew that the 1911 was securely stowed at the top of her closet, in a fireproof case. The time it would take for her to find it, and the noise it would make when she opened the case, loaded the weapon and returned to the door would take away any element of surprise that she currently enjoyed.

Instead she moved closer to the door. Even after years of training, she felt her stomach clench. Grasping the handle to the bathroom door, she slowly began to turn the knob. Forgetting complete state of undress, she pushed the door open, preparing to encounter the intruder who had invaded her brother’s home. The door swung open, and she gasped, a nude man stood at the sink, safety razor in hand, his eyes wide as he stared at her.

Jason "Jay" Sullivan had arrived on a late morning flight back to his hometown, now that college was over and he had yet to find a job. He had spent four great years in college, but now it was time to move on. Unfortunately, like most Americans in the 21st century, moving on meant taking a step back until something rose on the horizon, and that step back was moving back in with mom and dad.

It wasn't that Jay didn't like or enjoy his family, it was just that he had grown accustomed to a certain lifestyle during college and he was not so sure that he could keep that style up while he was back at home. Throughout college, Jay had attracted quite the amount of attention from members of the opposite sex, and he took the opportunity presented by that attention, but he was not in any hurry to risk the shameful looks from his parents if he brought a girl home.

Jay attracted the attention for a myriad of reasons. He was tall, athletic, and with dark hair and eyes the complemented his winning smile. Jay also could hold his own in a discussion with the most heavyweight of intellectuals and used his natural charisma to head up a couple of clubs while he was in school. Jay hoped those gifts would serve him well while trying to start his career as well with the new pool of women he was bound to meet moving back home.

The taxi cab dropped Jay off in front of his parents' house and grabbed his luggage out of the trunk. His parents were expecting him in on the weekend, but he came home early to surprise them, as well as settle in on his terms before they made a big deal about it. Jay's dad had also told him that his sister, Jay's aunt, Megan had moved in after her 20 years in the military had come up. Jay was confused at the extent of Megan's presence in the house. His mother had reiterated time and again that it was temporary while his father didn't corroborate the story. Other than that, he was excited to get reacquainted her. He had always considered her kind of his hero back when he was a kid, and although he would die of embarrassment if he admitted it, she was kind of his first crush.

As Jay wandered through the house the stink of the airplane seemed to linger over him. He decided the first thing he was to do was to get cleaned up. He called out for his parents and Megan, but nobody was home. Jay walked into the bathroom and took a long shower, lathering himself and washing it off. He was reminded how great the water pressure was in his childhood home, better than the cheap places he lived in college.

After he got out of the shower he looked at himself in the steamy mirror and noticed he needed a shave. He dried himself off partially and hung the towel. He stood naked in front of the sink as he put the shaving cream on his face. He looked over at the door and noticed it was unlocked but decided it was no big deal since no one else was in the house.

As he shaved he thought he heard a noise come from the hallway, but the running water from the sink masked any sound, so he didn't really care. Then the door swung open and a blonde woman was in the doorway. She was naked and the razor if acting on its shaved against the grain, gashing his skin.

"Shit!" Jay yelled as he closed his eyes. The red blood stood out amongst the white shaving cream as Jay winced in pain.

He moved toward the door and shut it in the woman's face.

"Aunt Megan!" he screeched. "Was that you? It's Jay, I came home a little early."

Megan stopped in the doorway, her eyes fixated on the man standing in profile at the sink. The adrenaline that had coursed through her body began to abate, and she almost subconsciously took in the surroundings. The room was steamy from the heat of the shower, small rivulets of condensation still coursed down the mirror, where he had obviously wiped it off with the fluffy white towel that was bunched up on the sink.

She saw he had cut himself, probably a slip of the hand when she had pushed the door open; the sound of it crashing against the stop on the wall had obviously startled him. As she stared, he turned toward her, a look of surprise on his face. Her eyes went up from his feet, along his body taking in his smooth, muscular physique. Then her eyes focused on his face and she realized who he was.

Jay was a spitting image of his father in his early twenties, his dark hair was a little longer than Sean’s had been when he had attended her junior high school graduation, but aside from that the man standing naked in the bathroom could have been her brother twenty years ago. His cheeks were quickly becoming flush as he stared at her, the razor still gripped in his hand, a small trickle of blood coursing down his cheek.

As she stood in the doorway, he suddenly bolted three strides forward and swung the door shut. The bang made her jump as the hollow wooden door slammed against the jam, just inches from her nose; the movement of cool air against her body reminding her that she was also naked. From behind the door she could hear him begin to stammer, his voice muffled by the door. “Aunt Megan!”

“Jay?” she called back, but he continued to talk over her from behind the door. To her the situation wasn’t near as shocking as it must have been to a twenty year old, being caught naked. She had seen many nude men over her lifetime, and Jay was an excellent specimen of the human male.

When he finished, she tried again, “Jay, yes it is me… your aunt. I am so sorry; I didn’t realize that you were going to be home.” She turned. the door to her own room only a few feet away. She was now acutely aware of her own nudity, but she didn’t think he had even registered the fact.

Quickly she entered her own room, hoping that she could reach her own area of privacy, before the boy come out of the bathroom. Digging a t-shirt out of her dresser, she pulled the white cotton cloth over her torso, covering her to the waist. As she closed the drawer and immediately pulled open the one right above her t-shirts. As she rummaged for a pair of panties, her thoughts went back to Jay.

Again, she thought how handsome he was. She knew her eyes had gone directly to his ass, which was one of her most favorite parts on a guy. It was tight, and she could almost visualize it packed into a tight pair of jeans. In the front he had been no slouch either, the sight of his cock, even flaccid, had sent a thrill through her. He was also fit, his stomach flat, not ripped, but definitely in shape. And then there was the similarity to her brother, who she had always considered one of the most handsome men she had met.

Sean had always been her protector, six almost seven years older than she was, he had been their parents favorite. While she had been just as smart and athletic, she had never had the support of her parents that he had had. Still she idolized him, and to his credit had been a great brother. Whenever he could come home from college he had attended her volleyball, lacrosse, and soccer games. He had helped her with her homework, and when things seemed to be at their lowest had been her shoulder to cry on. Even during her times in the Marines, like when she had been hurt and the vehicle full of people she knew next to her obliterated, she had only to pick up the phone and Sean would be there.

And here was his son, Jay, an almost identical twin of her brother, when he had been the most important person in her life. Pulling a white cotton pair of hip huggers out of the drawer she slid one leg and then the other into the panties, as her mind continued to race.

Jay looked into the mirror that had steamed over again. The faucet was as hot as possible so each time he rinsed the razor off, it glided past his coarse face wit relative ease, rather than uncomfortably pulling at his skin. The mirror was steamed due to the hot water, and the fact that the bathroom fan didn't seem to work. Typically the window in the corner of the bathroom would be open, but Jay thought it was a bit too chilly out at the moment to open the window. The fan was something he would have to talk to his dad about fixing.

As he cleaned up his face, the blood trickling from the little wound on his chin got him to thinking about the awkward encounter he had just had with his father's sister. He wasn't exactly sure of what he saw, given the confusion and the startling nature of he being walked in on in the nude. Not that nudity was a hang up of Jay. In college, if he and a girl he was spending time with had whatever place they were at to themselves, he was very much in favor of parading around naked. However, that was only when he was sure they were alone. He felt bad about slamming the door in her face and...

She was naked too! It finally hit him. Megan had been naked. She thought she was alone in the house as well and decided to parade around in the nude. The free spiritedness of his aunt made him smile a bit. His brain searched for more pieces of the encounter, but Jay tried to stop himself, saying it was gross to think about what his aunt looked like naked. Then he remembered a glimpse of one of her tattoos and his interest was piqued once again.

He shook his head and looked at himself in the mirror. He told himself to stop, and he threw on the tee shirt, boxer-briefs, and athletic shorts he had worn to the bathroom. As he exited the bathroom, he walked down the familiar upstairs hallway with high ceilings, and sunlight pouring through the windows. He approached the door that used to be to his own childhood bedroom, that he was sure Megan was using now. He knocked and stood outside the door.

"Aunt Megan," he called out, "sorry I took you by surprise. I will be downstairs in the kitchen. I am going to make some coffee if you want to join me."

He felt it best not to bring up the nudity and walked downstairs. He filled up the reservoir in the back of the maker with water, ground beans, and put the beans in the filter and turned on the machine. The aromatic scent of coffee started to fill the house.

Megan heard the door to the bathroom open and close; then a quick rap came to her door. This time, when she heard his voice it was calm; he had obviously collected himself before leaving the washroom. “Aunt Megan,” the muffled voice came, "sorry I took you by surprise. I will be downstairs in the kitchen. I am going to make some coffee if you want to join me."

She could hear something else in his voice, as after a brief pause, he continued down the hallway towards the kitchen. When she heard his footsteps fade, the hardwood flooring carried sound very well; she exited the room and stepped into the bathroom. The fog of steam that had filled the room a few minutes ago had dissipated, letting a ray of sunshine come through the frosted glass pane.

Closing the door, Megan stepped out of her panties and used her toe to bring them up to her hand. She reached in the shower and turned on the faucet, tested the water and pulled the t-shirt up over her head. Throwing both articles of clothing onto the sink, she noticed his razor and shaving cream still sitting on the edge of the sink. Curious about the scent, she couldn’t help but pick up the cylinder and spray a small dollop of white foam into her palm.

Bringing the swirl of cream to her nose, she inhaled deeply. The scent of a man’s toiletries always excited her, and as her nose was filled with the scent of sandalwood, she felt herself shift slightly, a shiver of desire coursing through her. She quickly dropped her hand, but not before her nose had touched the peak of the shaving cream. She caught a quick glance of herself in the mirror, a white dot on her nose, and despite herself giggled at the sight.

Quickly turning away, she stepped into the hot rivulets of water that cascaded from the shower head. She tried not to think about the fact that a man had just been standing where she was, a handsome hunky twenty something man at that. Most of her more recent sex partners had been younger men; privates, lance corporals, sergeants, all men she had picked because not only did they have the energy of youth, but because they did not represent a long term attachment. That thought, combined with her recent lack of sex, she had not been laid since she had left the Corps, made her acutely aware of the wetness between her legs. The knowledge that the man who had been standing in here was her nephew didn’t seem to reduce her libido in any fashion.

Longing to touch herself, she resisted the urge. Her shower cut short by her own yearnings. She turned off the water and took in three or four deep breaths. Debating on turning the faucet handle as far to the left as it would go, covering herself in an icy torrent, she decided against it and reached out for a towel.

The towel she drew back to her was damp. “Shit,” she said aloud and realized that she hadn’t reached into the cabinet and obtained a fresh fluffy towel; instead she had brought the one that Jay had had sitting on the sink, where her t-shirt and panties now lay. She debated on throwing the towel on the ground and using it to soak up the drips from her body as she rummaged through the cabinet, but at the last moment remembered that she had been too lazy the day before to do her laundry and that that towel had been the last one in the cabinet. Her sister-in-law had refused, and rightly so, to do her laundry.

She began to towel herself off with the damp cotton, whisking away the drops from her body. As she toweled off her breasts, the smell of his shaving cream again filled her nose, but it was intermixed with other smells; soap and what had to be Jay’s own scent. Again, she felt a shiver originate between her legs and run up her stomach, and without drying her hair, she dropped the towel onto the floor.

Quickly she donned her panties and t-shirt, and opening the door just a crack peeked out into the hallway. Reaching her room, she closed the door behind her and pressed her back against the wood. Letting out another deep breath she paused before searching through her drawers for a bra and a pair of jeans. Selecting a plain Haines bra she slipped it on under her t-shirt, and slid into a pair of well-worn Levi’s that she had pulled off a hanger in the closet.

By now the scent of coffee had reached the room. She opened the door and padded barefoot down the hallway. Outside, the enticing aroma of the coffee was stronger and she followed her nose down the same path her nephew had taken ten minutes earlier. AS she passed the full length mirror in the hallway again, she quickly ran her fingers through her still damp hair; she would have to do something about it before she had to go to the bartending job she had taken to get her out of the house when her sister-in-law was home.

Rounding the corner to the kitchen, she stopped again. He was sitting at the island, his back to her. The television was on but turned low; she could hear the voices, but not make out the words to the program. “Jay…” she called softly. He had just about to take a drink from his cup, but instead she saw him slowly turn around.

Again she marveled at how much he looked like his father. Dry and clothed, his hair had fallen into the natural wave that Sean had when he didn’t style his hair. He was dressed in a grey t-shirt, which hugged his chest and biceps and when she couldn’t stop herself from letting her eyes flicker down, saw that he was wearing a matching pair of athletic shorts. Catching herself she quickly made eye contact with him, noticing for the first time that his eyes were almost the exact same color as her own.

“Jay, I am so sorry.” She continued, feeling a flush come over her cheeks. “I truly didn’t know that you were home. Your Mom and Dad hadn’t told me and honestly I didn’t think about it being the end of the school term. “

Jay turned his head slowly as he heard the soft voice of his aunt carry through the kitchen. It was almost girlish in the hushed, quiet tones she was exhibiting. He was embarrassed too, and he could tell that he shared that feeling with his aunt. It was not the ideal reunion that any long lost relatives hoped to share, but the nude encounter complete with blood and profanity was an incident that neither one of them would probably ever forget.

“I truly didn’t know that you were home. Your Mom and Dad hadn’t told me and honestly I didn’t think about it being the end of the school term. “

He noticed that flush creeping into her cheeks, and his suspicions of her embarrassment were confirmed by that telltale sign. He wanted to say it was no big deal, but the last thing he wanted to do was to continue to bring up the incident. He heard what she said, searching for the logical mistake she made which resulted in seeing her nephew totally naked. Then Jay decided to just switch gears.

"I wanted some time to decompress, and didn't want my parents making a big deal once I finally got back," Jay said candidly. "Did they fuss over you when you finally came home, Aunt Megan?"

Megan saw a flush rise on his cheeks as she spoke and instantly regretted bringing up the subject. Still, she thought that the subtle reddening of his cheeks was cute, and as she crossed his line of vision into the kitchen she couldn’t help but smile. Still he steered the conversation into a much safer direction.

"I wanted some time to decompress, and didn't want my parents making a big deal once I finally got back," his voice came from behind her. "Did they fuss over you when you finally came home, Aunt Megan?"

As he spoke she opened the cabinet and withdrew a coffee cup exactly like the one he had been holding in his hand. Setting it on the counter, she turned around and faced her nephew, replying. “Well, your Dad always is fantastic.” She hurriedly amended, “well and your Mom too.”

She wasn’t sure if Jay knew her status within the family, but she was sure that at some point it had come up. It was a topic that she wasn’t too keen to discuss. Here she was, thirty eight years old, working in a dive bar, while, like a teenager or, she supposed, a recent college graduate trying to figure out what to do with her life. She turned away and filled the cup from the pot, knowing that his eyes were studying her.

She turned back, took a sip from her coffee and flashed him a smile. “I’m starved; I only had a small breakfast before my bike ride, how about a cheese sandwich?”

Without waiting for his reply she set the cup on the counter and opened the door to the refrigerator. The cold air blasted her as she bent to rummage through though one of the drawers and she felt her nipples brush against the cups of her bra as they hardened in response to the chill. She emerged from the refrigerator with a tin of brie and an apple from the crisper. Placing the food items on the counter, she added, “Or I can make a peanut butter and jelly, if you would rather have that?”

"No," Jay said amenably. "That's fine, I'm not all that hungry right now."

He couldn't help but feel his stomach turn nervously as he tried to scram the image of aunt in the nude from his mind. He looked at her and looked away quickly, as the memory of his aunt Megan from not too long before corrupted his senses. He sipped from his coffee and just looked outside of the kitchen window as yellow light streamed in.

"So..." Jay said, not making eye contact and even more unsure of how to bring up the only other thought going through his head. He understood that his aunt and his mother had never quite seen eye to eye, and that his mother considered Megan more of a liability than anything positive, but he always thought the world of Megan.

"So," he said once again, "mom is still pretty icy, I guess then, huh?"

He finally turned to Megan, "I noticed you were kind of abrupt when talking about her."

At his declination, Megan began to slice the apple she had procured from the refrigerator on a cutting board she took from a cupboard. When she turned to flick the switch on the Paninni press, she caught him studying her out of the corner of his eye. She smiled to herself as she turned back to her preparations and assembled her sandwich and placed it into the press.

She turned, the small of her back resting against the counter as she waited for the timer to count down. Her eyes again flicked to her nephew, still sitting on the stool at the bar sipping his coffee, however instead of giving indication to her presence he absently stared out the window. The silence in the room was unnerving and Megan wondered what was going through his mind. She had been looking forward to seeing Jay again; it had been so long since the last time they had met. Although she knew that time had passed, it was such a shock to see how he had aged in the last ten years.

Again, she was taken aback by the similarities that Jay had with his father. Megan had always looked up to her older brother; in fact he had been a standard by which she had held every boy she had dated throughout high school and even in her early twenties. In fact, she knew that her brother had been her first crush. It had been him that had fueled her sexual fantasies when she first discovered the pleasures of masturbation. Then later, it was her desire for her brother to sleep with his friends. She had heard from at least one of the young men who had come with Sean to visit the summer before her senior year, that it was the running joke among his college friends. Visit Colorado with Sean, fuck his little sister.

She had even tried to cross the line, tried to seduce him one night her senior year when they had been drinking, but he had rebuffed her; shattering her fantasies and left her feeling hurt and alone. She had floundered at that point, rebelling out against her parents, her friends, and especially Sean. Before he had been her rock; he the star child in their parents’ lives, she a perceived mistake that had come along after the first. Her promiscuity was only heightened and by the time she graduated later that spring, her reputation had changed from the jock girl who puts out once in a while to the girl to go out with if you wanted to get laid. Subconsciously, she knew that she wanted her brother’s attention and after she had spent the night of her graduation with three star athletes, she got it.

That evening with her brother seemed even more devastating than the night he had rejected her advances. She had always assumed that she could do no wrong in his eyes, but when he started off his conversation with, “So… So, Megan, when are going to stop being such a slut,” she broke away, tears flowing and the next morning, in a fit of defiance, did the exact opposite of what everyone expected of her. She soon found herself on a plane from Colorado to South Carolina and the Marine Recruit Depot at Parris Island.

Much to her surprise as much as anyone else’s, she found she loved the military and loved the career path she had stumbled on. Sean had quickly forgiven her, like he always did, and he was the first person to meet her after the graduation ceremonies, having had to skip some of his most important law classes to make the trip. Their relationship mended, and soon their old patterns reemerged until his marriage to Shelley.

The timer on the Panini press dinged and she found herself staring at her nephew’s profile. She quickly turned away, as she felt a need arise inside of her. Using her fingers, she slid the sandwich off the griddle and onto a plate, burning her middle finger on the hot plate as she did so. The timer had seemed to refocus Jay as well, because as she stood across from him at the bar, he turned back to her; his eyes still not meeting hers, instead focusing again at the noon sun streaming through the wooden louvers of the kitchen blinds.

“So…” he began, and then paused. His appearance was not the only thing he had in common with his father. She could almost hear Sean’s voice the night he had finally had enough of her. Involuntarily, she braced herself, not sure what was going through the young man’s head.

"So, Mom is still pretty icy, I guess then, huh?" he continued, before turning his head to her and completing his question. "I noticed you were kind of abrupt when talking about her."

She stopped chewing the bite of bread and cheese that she had just taken. Had she been that obvious as to her distain for Jay’s mother? She hadn’t meant to let it through to her nephew, but she knew that there was no way she could disguise her feelings about Shelley for long, no matter the company she was in. She only hoped that Jay didn’t know the embarrassment she had caused both Sean and Shelley years before.

Megan had been devastated when Sean had called her, to announce his nuptials to Shelley. She thought she had worked through the issues around the feelings that she felt with her brother, but afterwards, when she really thought about it, she realized that she had been still following her old inclinations. The men she had slept with the last two years had all been very similar in appearance to her brother.

She and Shelly had often run in the same circles in school; both involved in sports, cheerleading, and many other activities. Shelley was two years older than her and for lack of a better word, had been her rival her freshman and sophomore years. Shelley had been her tormentor through almost every hazing she had been in throughout her freshman year, and had continued to single Megan out the next year as well. She had often been the topic of discussion when Sean would call Megan to offer his brotherly support. After Shelley had graduated, the girl had essentially been erased from existence in Megan’s mind, the only time she thought of her was when she drove to meet Sean at college, since she knew that Shelley attended the same school.

Megan’s reaction to the news was nuclear. She later sensed that Sean was prepared for the outburst; his own reaction to her tantrums was calm and collected. He had called again, later in the evening after she had mulled over the news. She realized why he had not told her of their courtship, the results of her attempted seduction made his own love life a taboo topic, even though she tried to interject her own conquests in to their conversations, he had become very deft at deflecting her stories of sex. At the end of the conversation Sean had her promise to attend and a more vague promise to be good.

She had been thrilled at her homecoming; she had excelled as a Marine and the sense of pride she felt at her parent’s apparent respect was exhilarating. When she saw her brother, standing next to Shelley at the airport she resisted the urge to throw herself in his arms; her conduct more restrained from her training than her common sense. Even Shelley had been cordial, having seemed to forgotten her part in the hell Megan had endured her first year in high school. Megan had always thought Shelley was a beautiful woman, but she immediately felt a coolness about the woman, which made her question Shelley’s motives, though at the same time wondered if her own feelings were guiding her mistrust.

The wedding and the reception had been phenomenal, both sets of parents had obviously donated an extravagant amount of money to the couple as Sean had just started a junior associate and Shelley had just graduated college and was looking for a job. AS the night wore on, Megan had found herself drunk and alone. Sean’s friends, the men who had been so eager to take her to bed as a teenager, now were either married or engaged themselves and besides, she could hear their whispers as she walked by; her impulse to turn and curse at them curtailed only by her bearing.

Then Sean had taken her by the arm and led her out onto the veranda of the country clubhouse where the reception had been. This had been the first time they had been alone since she had arrived and all of her old feelings returned; the need, the want, the taboo thoughts of her brother all came bubbling to the surface and combined with the jealousy she felt towards Shelley. His touch had been initially comforting as he spoke quietly to her, told her he understood the confusion she had to be feeling with is marriage. Her emotions soon over took her and she began crying on his shoulder.

Then it happened, he released her, his strong arms letting go of her body and he asked, “Megan, is everything ok?”

She remembered her eyes which had been focused on the floor traveling up her brothers body to meet his. Her vision was still blurred by the tears and her mind was still reeling. She wanted to shout at him, ask him how he could marry that woman, but instead she heard herself say. “Fuck me.”

The look on his face told her everything. His disgust with her, for her taboo request, for her anger at him for his choices, and for the things she had done all to gain his attention. His eyes were icy and he looked like he wanted to slap her. She could feel the rage coursing through him.

“Please… Please!” she begged, “please I want you to fuck me. You can do it however you want Sean.”

He remained silent as he started to brush past her. Grabbing the jacket of his tuxedo, Megan continued. “You don’t have to do my pussy baby, you can use my mouth.” After a moment’s hesitation she upped the ante, “or my ass, you can fuck me there, that way there couldn’t be any chance of anything.”

Her grasp on his jacket began to spin her around and then he stopped. She continued, “please, please Sean.” Her voice went lower, “you can be rough, I like rough, you can fuck me any way you want. Sean, you can fuck me....”

The she noticed that his gaze was focused on the door back into the hall. Her eyes followed and there was Shelley standing in front of an open door. The music blaring out had obviously drowned out Megan’s pleas from the other guests, but from the look on her face, Shelley had heard everything.

“You nasty little twat,” Shelley’s voice rang out, “you sick little bitch.”

Sean had wriggled out of Megan’s grasp and was already between his wife and his sister. As Shelley began to scream obscenities to her, Sean turned to Megan.

“You… you need to go Megan. Leave. Don’t call me, don’t write me. I don’t want to see you again.”
She left the club crying. Her parents had rushed to Sean, not her asking what was wrong. Thankfully he kept it to himself and somehow had quieted Shelley down before the obviously concerned parents of both the bride and the groom had any inkling something was wrong.

Megan had returned home, having the taxi wait for her as she entered her parents’ house and gathered her belongings. She spent four hundred dollars to get her return flight changed to the first flight of the morning and fled. A week later she found herself deployed to the Balkans to assist in investigations of alleged genocide.

Thinking of that moment, she slowly looked up and met her nephew’s eyes. She was trying not to relive what she considered the lowest point of her life. She considered her answer; she didn’t know what Sean had had to do to talk Shelley into even letting her visit over the years, much less live in the same house.

“I’m sorry Jay,” she said forcing herself to keep her voice even. “Your mother and I have known each other for a long time. I don’t think she cares for me too much and we rarely see eye to eye.”

Jay tipped his head down and thought about growing up in that very house with the specter of Aunt Megan looming in the house. His mom never liked Megan's name even being hushed in the house and Jay never knew why. He was always very curious about his family when he was younger and asked his father lots of questions about his overseas relative. He built her up to be a hero, even though he had never met her. Finally, when he did meet her his expectations were blown out of the water. He immediately built her up to be his hero, and as he grew older and his interests were drawn to other things, girls especially, Jay tried to find the perfect woman who happened to fit the mold of his aunt. He was never sure if he was actively doing it, or if she was part of his subconscious, but he soon learned a few years earlier that it was what was happening whenever he was with a woman. He always compared her to the Megan mold.

That weighing always made him feel guilty that he thought of his aunt in such a way. He always figured it was just an idea in his head, but seeing her in the nude made it seem all too weird and real. But he needed to look at her, even if it made him feel guilty.

Jay turned and smiled at Megan, "She can drive me crazy too, but in a different way. I can help you get through it if you support me while I'm here. How about we form a little household alliance while we're both here?"

Megan finished her declaration; her heart pounding, praying she wasn’t alienating her nephew. Her brother was very warm and seemed truly happy to have her back in his life. The sins of the past exactly that in his eyes, he had told her as much in a letter he had sent to her while she was deployed. But Shelley had never accepted her; she was cordial enough the few occasions they had had to be together, but that was the extent of their relationship.

So she warily watched as Jay thought through her answer. She remembered the first time she had seen him, a Christmas when he was just over one years old. She had been staying with her parents and Sean and Shelley had come for a day visit. Megan knew that there would be tension; had prepared herself for it. When the couple had arrived, she restrained herself; wanting to fly into her brothers arms, but instead she watched as Sean carefully carried the carrier into the house, followed by his wife. Sean’s embrace had been genuine, but guarded and Megan followed his suit. Shelley had excused herself and headed into the kitchen with her mother-in-law on the premise she was checking on the roast.

Sean had taken her hand, and led her over to where his son lay sleeping under an immense pile of blankets. Brother and sister sat on either side of the child and Sean carefully pulled back the blankets so she could see the baby. Jay had just opened his eyes, staring around between his father and his aunt. Sean answered Megan’s unasked question by reaching into the carrier, picking the boy up, and handing him to her.

Megan took him, unsure of herself, expecting the child to squawk or begin to howl. Instead, the boy looked up to her, his eyes wide, a smile sleepily tugging at his lips. He emitted no cries or fusses and Megan felt an immediate connection with her nephew. She continued to study his small face; even a she felt Sean’s eyes studying her. She tucked the boy into the crook of her arm as he began to coo happily. She was entranced and wasn’t even aware of Shelley’s presence over her shoulder until she heard her sister-in-laws icy voice; the first words she had said to Megan since denouncing her as a sick whore over a year before.

“Careful with him, he’s not a rifle or whatever it is you’re used to. In fact, please give him to me.” Megan heard the rest of the silent message in Shelley’s tone and reluctantly handed her new nephew to her sister-in-law.

Now, she was again sitting across from the boy; except now he was a man. She hoped that the connection they had had so many years ago was still strong. It had been so for a long time. Jay had written her, and then emailed her, most of his adolescence and into his early teens. The times they had actually saw each other, he had followed her every move. Running with her in the morning, slowing her down true, but he still doggedly followed her. Indulging her when they watched TV, patiently sitting with her through her uncharacteristic addition to daytime soap operas, instead of the kid’s cartoons she knew he wanted to watch. When she was with Jay she felt she could do no wrong. Even so, she was not surprised when his letters and e-mails became fewer and fewer as he moved into high school and on into college.

Still she was his sounding board and he hers. When he did communicate it was always that underlying tone that he was talking to a confidant. School issues, roommate issues, though very rarely did he seem to have girl problems, or maybe it was just the fact that she was a woman and he didn’t want to seem like he didn’t know what he was doing in the girlfriend department. She had kept her own correspondence generic, mostly tales or pictures of places she had been fortunate to visit; never about her own relationships.

She looked up from studying her sandwich; the cheese starting to harden. She saw his eyes were on her and she wondered what was going through his mind. She saw him smile at her; the cute mischievous smile that he had first flashed her twenty years ago and he replied. "She can drive me crazy too, but in a different way.”

She nodded, remembering her own confrontations with her mother. Unresolved issues that the two of them had managed to avoid the rare times they were forced to endure each other’s company. Megan longed to ask, find out what kind of mother Shelley had been to him, but she didn’t dare.

Jay continued, reaching out to her with a figurative olive branch, “I can help you get through it if you support me while I'm here. How about we form a little household alliance while we're both here?"

Megan matched his smile as he spoke, a weight ballooning off of her shoulders. Dropping the sandwich onto the plate, she pushed her body up on her hands and leaned forward across the counter, her lips brushing his cheek as she breathed in the clean scent of him. “Perfect,” she exclaimed before letting her body fall back, her feet finding the floor and her breasts bouncing slightly.

She picked back up her sandwich and took a bite, the crisp apple crunching as she chewed thoughtfully. Swallowing she asked, “what kind of support do you need, Jay?”

Jay contemplated the question that sprung from the mouth of his aunt. What kind of support would he need? He was facing a new phase in his life and he realized Meagan was too. That was the common ground they could share. Something his parents wouldn't get. It was something his old friends would understand, but not many of them were moving back home. And it had been a long time since he hung out with any of them for an extended period of time. Maybe they too couldn't relate anymore. Jay needed new friends, new people in his life. And even though Meagan had played a big role in his past, a bigger role than he ever wanted her to know, maybe she could help be his bridge to his future.

"Well, we're both going through big transitions," he smiled at her softly, "and I figure you could be someone I can relate to. Far better than my parents anyways. I'm kind of alone, and need some new friends. Can we be friends, and just do what friends do for one another?"

Jay laughed and shook his head. "I'm sure that sounded ridiculous, but think about it."

Jay left the room and walked down to the basement where his new room was, right by the laundry machines. He closed the door to his room and tried to get the image of his naked aunt out of his head, but failing miserably.

Megan sensed Jay’s discomfort and immediately thought she had asked the wrong question. While she knew her reunion with her nephew would not be that of an aunt and a young teenage boy, she had not grasped the idea that he would be a young man. ‘A yummy looking man,’ the thought came unbidden into her mind. He wasn’t the same little kid he had been when they had last met, no matter how much she wanted him to be.

So she let him think her question through as she ate her sandwich. She did not want to pressure him, no matter how much she needed an ally and wanted that ally to be Jay. Then he seemed to make a decision and the tension that she imagined filling the room seemed to relent.

"Well, we're both going through big transitions,” he told her smiling. Megan returned the smile, the beginning was encouraging and told her that he didn’t see her through his mother’s eyes. He quietly continued, "And I figure you could be someone I can relate to. Far better than my parents anyways. I'm kind of alone, and need some new friends. Can we be friends, and just do what friends do for one another?"

She felt the awkwardness he had to be feeling in his words, and he quickly tried to turn his tone into a more jovial one. "I'm sure that sounded ridiculous, but think about it.” Then with a soft laugh he stood up and left the table, heading to the door to the basement. Megan watched him as he walked away, her mind contemplating his words; she finished her sandwich as the door to the basement closed behind him.

She glanced at the clock as she placed the plate in the dishwasher and saw she had a bit of time to kill before having to get ready for work. She was always careful to keep her presence in Shelley’s house as minimal as possible and in her previous life, she had maintained a very careful sense of order. The same could be said for her friends; she had many acquaintances in the military, but very few individuals she could call friends. Her job and her rank were both barriers that often stood in the way of her developing anything more than a passing with her coworkers.

She was tempted to run down the stairs and tell her nephew that yes she would be his friend. The idea was intriguing, her early twenties had been spent in several Asian countries so maybe it was her chance to find out what, if anything she had missed out on. Refilling her cup of coffee from the half empty carafe she went into the living room to indulge in her one guilty pleasure, talk television.

For the next couple of hours she half listened to Oprah and Ellen, before flipping through the channels almost randomly. As she sat, her mind began to wander and her hand slipped down between the waistband of her jeans and her panties. She was used to having the afternoons to herself, and had often used that time for her own pleasure. She hadn’t had real sex since she had left the Marines; there had been several possibilities with the clientele at the bar where she worked, but she hadn’t made any commitments to any of the patrons who had come on to her.

Slowly Megan rubbed against the gusset of her panties, feeling her wetness wick through the soft material. She hadn’t put faces to her imaginary partners, just jilled herself for her own pleasure. She was equally attracted to both men and women, and her pick of partners from the bar could easily had been from either sex. However, today the one thought that came to mind as she slipped her hands now beneath the elastic of her panties was the thought of her nephews cock. With her free hand she unbuckled the belt and worked the button that held her jeans tight against her body.

Jay sat down in his bare bones bedroom in the basement and tried to clear his head. He wasn't sure what he was going to do down there, and he was bored. The thoughts of nude aunt and her tight body finally seemed to have dissipated, or at least were pushed to the back of his mind. He now looked at the empty room. It was his mattress and box spring on the lowest bed frame he'd ever seen. It was no surprise the frame was so close to the floor given the low height of the ceiling. And the room was stunningly tied together by a folding chair and a card table as a makeshift desk. Jay sat on the chair and looked from the card table over to the corner of the room that was just boxes stacked on top of one another that still contained his clothes and personal property.

The room was depressing. It was smaller than the dorm room he had moved out of three years prior. The one difference was that this was a room in well built and large house. And inside that cramped basement room, it was utterly silent. Jay wasn't allowed to move down there back in high school. His mother was far too protective, and just assumed the soundproof room on the opposite side of the house near an exit would just invite too much temptation. She was right, and it still didn't stop Jay from sneaking people in some nights during his teen years. Guys would come over to drink, and girls would come over to fool around. But it started even before high school, for that room was the first time he looked at a Penthouse and did what all teenage boys start in their teens and continue on for the rest of their lives.

As Jay reflected on that youth spent in what was now his room, he slipped his hand over his cock, laying against his thigh. He rubbed his shaft a bit through his pants and started to stiffen. He thought of that first dirty magazine and then of some of the girls he made it with in that room. And then the flash of his surprised, naked Aunt Megan filled his mind.

Jay let go of himself and shook his head. He grabbed some clothes and changed, he had to get out of that house. He quickly ascended the stairs and was about to barrel out of the back door when he heard the sound of fabric rubbing against fabric, muffled by the sound of daytime television. Jay walked through the kitchen and peered in the living room seeing nothing at first. He stepped closer, quietly and saw Megan with her hand in her jeans, eyes closed, writhing a bit on the couch. Jay's eyes widened and he turned, walking quickly to the door, and the floor board on his second step creaking loudly beneath him. He knew the sound was loud but headed out the back, slamming the door unintentionally behind him as he walked down the driveway to the street.

Megan rubbed herself harder as she loosened her jeans, and pushed the waistband open to allow herself better access to her wet cunt. Time and space seemed to stand still as she rubbed; her fantasy as she masturbated on the sofa was focused not on her brother, like it had been so many times before, but his son. Her mind kept returning to the moment she opened the door to the bathroom and saw him standing right in front of her, his nude body still wet from the shower.

The fingers of her right hand straddled her clit, slowly squeezing the sensitive nub and sending waves of pleasure through her body. ‘Lady, you need to get laid,’ her mind told her as her other hand pushed the wet gusset of her panties between her lips. She closed her eyes and began to diddle herself the sensation of an orgasm drawing closer and closer. Her jeans trapped her hands, limiting her motion, but she still the orgasm approach.

As she neared her orgasm, she pressed her teeth together, trapping her bottom lip. She had started to buck slightly against her own fingers as the pushed her wet panties into her vagina and quickly thumbed her clit. She imagined Sean’s,’ no Jay’s‘ her mind flashed, fingers replacing her own, bringing to the edge of her orgasm.

A sound came from behind her, but she disregarded it as the house settling, the sexual rapture confusing her senses. She totally forgot about Jay, about where she was, and began to cum. Just as the first waves of pleasure coursed through her, she heard the back door slam. Her eyes snapped open, her hands stopped even as she felt her orgasm drip down between her thighs.

She sat up. “Oh shit,” she muttered, knowing at that point Jay had been watching her. The euphoric sensations that resulted from her orgasm disappeared and she leapt to her feet, her hands fumbling with the button to her jeans as she stepped into the hall and opened the door. She could see Jay at the end of the driveway as he quickly turned to the right behind the bushes that made up the hedge.

“Jay!” She hollered loudly, and then repeated herself, calling his name, as she began to jog down the driveway. The driveway was long, about one hundred feet, but she closed the gap in seconds. Turning on the sidewalk that paralleled the front of the house she saw him again, less than fifty feet from her.

“Jay,” she called again, her voice elevated, “Jay, please stop!”

Jay stopped as he heard his aunt calling for him. He kept going after she first called out to him. He tried to act like he had not had heard her, and it was just an innocent mistake. But the logic crept in to his mind, and knew it was no use to just run away. The embarrassment and awkwardness of the day's events were enough to push anyone away for good, but as he walked away from Megan, he knew it was useless. She was in better shape, and had better wind, and if she was so determined she would have tracked him down. So there he was standing in the street, turned around to see that estranged aunt who he had built up to be this ideal hero in is head, but had bared too much of her reality for one day for Jay.

"Aunt Megan," Jay said as he closed his eyes as she approached. He furrowed his brow as he rubbed his forehead in exacerbation. He thought about what to say next, about maybe keeping their respective distances for a while, or how the house will be a little crowded and there needs to be an adjustment period. But then he looked in her eyes, and saw some sort of fear, a distraught look that told him a lot about her current situation. His embarrassment was overwhelming him, but he could see Megan was on edge and he mustered all of his emotional intelligence to defuse the situation.

Jay reached out and touched Megan's shoulder. "Don't worry about it, it never happened."

He smiled weakly, blushing.

Megan moved quickly, catching up with her nephew. She saw his troubled face and instantly felt guilty about pleasuring herself so openly; she had just been so into her fantasy that she had forgotten he was in the house. “Jay,” she repeated, her voice soft exactly at the time he uttered her name.

“Aunt Megan,” he was already saying, his voice tinged with confusion.

She stopped and watched him. He was obviously nervous; the balance of his body swung back on forth on the balls of his feet like he was going to make a break for it. She could understand his disbelief, but felt no remorse for her activities. She was a very sexual woman and the last three months had been very dissatisfying sexually.

She wondered what Shelley had told him, he seemed to think of her as some kind of deviant; the uncomfortableness he had demonstrated earlier in the day practically radiating from him. Her time in the military had taught her that there was no privacy and that people made do with their surroundings and she had more than once stumbled in upon a naked soldier somewhere masturbating. She knew there had to be something else bothering him.

Jay reached his hand out as if, trying to deflect the scene and uncomfortably said. "Don't worry about it, it never happened." Both his eyes, which were cast downwards and his forced smile told her that that wasn’t the case. She debated on pushing the issue, having to deal with Shelley already was almost more than she could take, but to be ostracized by Jay was too much.

So she spoke her mind, wanting to understand her place. “No, something is on your mind. If we are going to be friends, then we need to put it all out on the table.” She saw that her directness had taken him slightly by surprise, but she hadn’t been a successful military cop by skirting the issues. “Now, I understand we barely know each other,” her voice softened trying to keep him from running away again, “and I’m sure I was a surprise to you, living here at your parents’ house, but if there is a problem please let me know.”

With her last comment hanging in the air, Megan turned and started walking back to the house. She felt his eyes on her back, and then, out of nowhere, wondered if he found her attractive. She almost stopped, wanting to turn around, to see if he was checking out her ass or her legs, but fought the urge and continued walking. As her long legs took her away from her nephew, she glanced at her watch and was dismayed to see that she was running late for her job.

Jay didn't say anything as he watched her turn and walk back toward the house. He didn't know what to say, or if he even wanted to. He turned his eyes back to the opposite direction before stealing a look at his aunt's swaying hips as she walked away. He didn't know what he was supposed to do, whether he should go back and try to clear the air, or keep wandering aimlessly.

Jay ended up doing the latter. He walked around the old hometown and into the old and new stores. He had walked around for hours before he made it back to one of his favorite spots overlooking the river. He stood looking out over the water thinking about his new uncertain future. Where life would take him over the next few years, and interspersed among all the other thoughts racing through his head was Megan, Aunt Megan. Her familial title stuck in his mind, but yet he could not get over the animal attraction he had toward her.

After looking out over the river for over an hour Jay got a call. It was his mother excited about seeing his car but not knowing where he was. Jay told her he'd be home in less than an hour and stuck to his word. After spending a couple of hours back at home with his parents catching up, Jay found himself growing bored and his parents started to yawn. He told them he was going to meet up with some old friends and he left. Megan was only brought up once, and Jay's mother grew cold at that. Jay didn't press and left the mention by his father die in thin air.

However he was thinking of her. As he walked out of the house, he thought about contacting some old friends but couldn't muster up the ambition to do so. He found himself thinking about Megan and felt really stressed. After he had walked for a while, he thought a drink might calm him down. He walked into the bar and sat on a stool right next to the bar. He sat there and looked at his phone. He looked up and saw the bartender was none other than the woman whose image he was trying to get out of his head, Megan.

As she quickly strode back to the house, Megan worried that she had been a little too direct with Jay. She understood his discomfort, but after tiptoeing around on eggshells with his mother, the last thing she needed was to feel that way around Jay. Maybe, he had just been tired or even the idea of having to deal with his parents had stressed him out; she knew, at least for her, how stressful her own living situation was. And she knew, she needed to get laid.

With that thought on her mind, Megan reentered the house. She glanced back over her shoulder, hoping to see Jay come back up the driveway, but the stretch of asphalt behind her remained empty. Sighing, she headed to her bedroom, already pulling the t-shirt over her head.

Twenty minutes later she was in her Xterra, heading for work. She had changed into a tight pair of Levi’s, which hung low around her hips. She now wore a black twist top with a black and silver cami underneath. On her feet she wore a pair of red patent leather Doc’s which she had laced up tightly. Everything felt a bit tight, but she had learned from experience that what she wore often affected her tips.

The bar was crowded and country music boomed from the jukebox. She took her place behind the bar and with a nod from Julie, her coworker for the evening, began to fill a 20oz with Fat Tire from the tap. As the beer filled the glass she looked out over the crowd. It was just after five and the first wave was beginning to fill in along the bar. Immediately to her right she saw one of her regulars, a late twenties cowboy named Phil.

Phil was persistent, she gave him that much, he always started out the evening by asking her what time she got off. Their banter usually went on for a couple of hours, but so far Phil had not so far succeeded in escorting her out of the bar at one. Phil was not the only patron who seemed to be smitten by her; Megan spent many an evening warding off advances from more than one would be suitor. There were even a couple of women who had propositioned her, but she had taken up none of them. However, the way her libido was racing tonight, she might be persuaded to leave the bar with someone; at least she wouldn’t have to face Jay in the morning.

The last thought took her by surprise; she had definitely liked what she had seen in regards to her nephew’s physique. His resemblance to her brother only seemed to have fueled her desires. She brushed off Phil’s wandering eyes and moved down the bar to take an order from a group of college kids, obviously home for break.

The night passed swiftly as the after work crowd became the party crowd. The older patrons were replaced by a younger generation; not necessarily rowdier, but they weren’t going to have to get up in the morning for an overtime Saturday. In addition, the influx of soldiers from the Army base south of the city bolstered the crowd. Megan glanced at the jar on the bar, overflowing with fives and ones; she and Julies tips. For the country music crowd, Pete’s Iron Rail Saloon was the place to be and they had one of the hottest bands tuning up for the evening.

The whole night Megan flirted shamelessly, subconsciously looking for the right person to take her home and fuck her brains out. She was definitely tuned up; the more and more she thought about Jay, the hornier she became. She had just narrowed her choices, a hunky guy with an Army crew cut and tattoos or a pity fuck for Phil, when a tall brunette in wearing a pair of hip hugging Levi’s and a beautiful pale blue top approached the bar and asked for a gin and tonic.

Megan’s eyes instantly went to the woman’s left hand, noticing the huge rock which was prominently displayed on the woman’s ring finger, as she filled the tall narrow glass with ice. She felt the woman’s eyes watch her hands and move up her forearms, obviously taking in the ink that sported Megan’s arms. Tipping up the gin bottle she silently counted to herself; giving the woman an extra ounce of the liquor. When she looked up, the woman’s eyes met hers and Megan felt herself shiver in delight.

Megan finished the drink, acutely aware of the woman’s sensuality as she watched her. Megan put the final touch, a squeeze of lime, and dexterously twisted a slice of lime onto the edge of the glass. She handed the woman the drink; even a she slowly stirred the contents and felt a small jolt of electricity when her fingers; grasping the cold glass brushed with the brunettes as the woman reached for the drink.

“Here you go Sugar,” the woman drawled, an enticing smile on her lips as she slid a folded twenty across the damp bar. Megan smiled back, feeling the excitement of being flirted with by the gorgeous woman. She took the bill, and again their fingers brushed, though this time Megan let hers linger; the brunette doing the same.

Megan reluctantly drew the bill across the bar, breaking the connection. When she opened the fold, she saw a slip of paper with a phone number on it and the imprint of bright red lipstick; which she noted was exactly the same shade the woman across the bar from her sported. She looked up, meeting the woman’s eyes and all thoughts of the tattooed soldier and poor Phil fled her mind. She rang up the tab, and when she offered the woman her change the smile crept back on the brunettes face and she waved Megan off with. “Keep the changed gorgeous…” then after a sensual pause continued, her voice dripping with sexuality, “I’m Andi and my husband is out of town.”

Megan felt her stomach drop and her already tuned up body almost explode. It had been a three months and eight days since she had last been with a man, but it had been over a year since she had last been with another woman. Andi already had taken her drink and was moving into the throng of people in the bar. Megan watched as the woman strode away, the tight jeans accentuating her hips and imagined sliding them down the woman’s body.

She was still smiling to herself, when she turned to the next patron at the bar and found herself eye to eye with her nephew.

At first, Jay thought his mind had overtaken his perception. That it was playing tricks on him. Or maybe he had never even left the house and he had been dreaming. But after an awkward pause, sure enough he was sitting on a bar stool looking at his aunt right in her eyes. For a split second Jay looked her over. She was wearing tight clothes that showed off her finely tuned body, and the primal side of Jay screamed to grab her, but he easily kept it in check. He looked her in the eyes and just chuckled a bit.

"It's fate," he joked and leaned forward. "I didn't even know you worked here. I had heard you worked in a bar, didn't know it was here though."

He looked down the bar and saw a guy dressed in western clothes. Jay thought he looked like an idiot, but he was staring daggers at him for some reason. He shook off the scowling and looked back at Megan.

"I will take a Crown and soda, just a short glass," he said matter-of-factly as his body shifted nervously on the stool. He thought about bolting out of that place, but he was going to see her until one of them moved out of the house, and knowing his bank account and his mother's opinion of Megan, neither one of them would leave soon.

All thoughts of Andi emptied from Megan’s mind as she stared at Jay. She could tell by his expression that he too was taken aback by her presence, though he quickly recovered. He didn’t appear to be the same confused young man she had left several hours ago; instead he seemed to be more assure of himself. She quickly replaced her expression of surprise with a big smile; the same one she had just flashed at the tall woman who was threading through the crowd.

“Jay!” she exclaimed as inwardly she fought to settle herself down. He looked great; better than he had that afternoon, ‘well not all afternoon,’ she thought feeling her body tingle remembering him wet from the shower and taking in the resemblance he had to his father. “I didn’t expect to see you here. What can I get ya?” She continued, trying to keep her voice under control.

"It's fate," he replied, "I didn't even know you worked here. I had heard you worked in a bar, didn't know it was here though."

Megan waited for his order patiently, but felt her heart pounding. She saw Jay flash a glance down the bar towards Phil, who was watching the exchange, his eyes hooded and brooding. Jay’s eyes came back to meet hers as he placed his order. "I will take a Crown and soda, just a short glass."

Megan gave him a short nod and turned as she acknowledged his request. “Crown and Coke, coming right up.”

Megan reached below the bar, unconsciously letting the top hang loosely down. Her breasts strained against the black and silver camisole. She stood back up, the familiar Crown Royal bottle in her hand and made a quick pour of the whiskey into a glace of ice she had already staged. She felt his eyes follow her movements and felt a tingle run through her body; one she had not felt with either Phil or the buzz cut Army guy who she noticed had slid in next to Jay.

She grabbed the soda wand and began to fill the remainder of Jay’s glass with Coke. As she poured she let her eyes rest on her nephew; ignoring the beefy military guy next to him. Depressing the button on the wand, she slid the drink across the bar to Jay with a smile.

“I’ve got this one,” she proclaimed as the drink came to rest directly in front of him. She felt her heart continue to thud in her chest as, with a quick glance to buzz cut, asked, “How about you Honey, do you need another set-up?” Even as she took the man’s order she continued to watch her nephew. The man affirmed her observation with a quick nod and held up two fingers.

Megan lowered her eyes and turned to grab a pair of shot glasses and sat them on the bar. “Two tall Coors Lights, Julie,” she called out as she made a show of pouring both to the rim with a bottle of top shelf Tequila. Setting the bottle back on the counter, she slid in front of Jay as the other waitress unceremoniously set two tall glasses filled with beer in front of buzz cut.

She watched as Jay took a sip of his drink, only sliding back over when Julie moved down to another patron. She said softly as she took the other man’s money. “Jay, I’ve got a break coming up. If you want to grab a table, I can be there in a minute.” Buzz cut glanced over to Jay, and Megan quickly grabbed his change from the cash register near where she stood and handed him the bills. The man obviously realized that his advances were now being rebuked and turned away; leaving an empty spot on the bar where he had been leaving her a large tip all night.

Jay nodded and sipped his drink as he looked behind him from his bar stool. The whiskey's bite was dulled down by the ice and soda. As he savored the alcohol he scanned the bar for an open table. There was one tucked away in a corner by a door marked "Employee's Only." He stood up and looked at Megan, a tinge of guilt inside him. Jay motioned to the table and walked over there.

As he sat at the lonely table he looked over the people in the bar. Some were dancing, others were joking, and they all seemed to enjoy the theme and music of the bar. Jay had never been one for country music, but it didn't matter. He walked into that bar to dull his senses, and wash the awkwardness of the day away, but had only walked deeper into it. He was nervous waiting for Megan to come over, and some of the glares he perceived he was receiving from men and a woman in the bar were unsettling.

Jay pushed down the negative feelings and tried relaxing. College had been so easy for him, socially and academically. Good things just happened once he put his guard down and maybe it would be the same with Megan. So Jay watched Megan as she was going on her break and decided to just chill out.
