Today on my morning walk I saw a lady hanging up bedsheets using clothespins...which got me to thinking.

A few years ago I bought a large bag of classic wooden clothespins from Sam's Club. For the purposes of play, I take a stack of paper and attach a batch of clothespins at their maximum reach. After leaving them to "stretch" for several days, I pick out the ones with the weakest grip to use on the submissive for her first few experiences.

So far I have only applied clothespins to breasts. I start by applying the clothespin directly and not at a side angle. Initially I avoid the tip of the nipple and put the clothespin at the base of the nipple instead. Others might disagree, but I begin with only 2-3 minutes during the initial experiences. When removing the clothespin, her nipples will be sensitive and then there are choices. Some women enjoy having their breasts flogged while others might respond better to teasing with a feather.

Ten minutes is my personal limit for leaving clothespins attached to nipples. Instead of longer durations, I prefer to make the experience more acute. Ultimately I will use just the tip of her nipple or apply clothespins with sequentially stronger grips. I will flick at them and do other things to exacerbate her duress, all the while demanding she remains calm.

So there you have it....my shoddy and homegrown techniques.

Definately a fave of mine. Wooden ones are recommended as a safety measure to descrease risks of cutting etc., but I love both, and in a variety of places, ways, and times. Also I bought a container of the plastic, rubber tipped clamps from a hardware department which just up the pressure a tad, depending whether you use the small or big ones.

We use clothespins quite a bit in our play. I bought a bag of 100 from Wal-Mart, sorted through them, got rid of the splintered ones, and then split the remaining ones in half.

Half of them went in a bag marked "ouch". The other half, I "stretched" using a method similar to Mr. Blonde's. I took 2 large magazines, say, Cosmo size, and stacked them together, and pinned the pins all the way around, and left them for about 2 weeks. Afterwards, these pins went in a plain bag.

Clothespins, freshly bought, have about 4-6 lbs per sq in pressure, and when stretched as I did about 1-2 lbs per sq in.

So, where does He use them?

• in rows up and down my belly
• inner thighs from knee to labia
• inner and outer labia
• in concentric ever larger circles on my breasts starting at the nipples
• earlobes
• the soft skin underneath my toes
• mons
• upper chest, underneath the clavicle
• just about anywhere else He can pull up a pinch of skin

I find them to be an amazing, intense, sadistic, and fairly quick trip to subspace. The endorphin rush is very different than that of percussion play. And that's just the attachment of the clothespins *grin*

Taking them off is a whole 'nother rush entirely.

If you're in a pinch and there are no clothespins around, you can try the ties off of bread bags. You can wrap one around the base of a nipple and twist it tighter or loosen it for the appropriate amount of stimulation.

Using a twisty tie was discovered in a moment of desperation.

Especially the idea of breaking in those clothes pins prior to use.

My lover is wanting to use clothes pins for my nipples (that is all we have discussed anyway) and I am quite excited at the idea of having my nipples pinched that way. I love the way his fingers do it in combination with other twisting and pulling but I can see how he might want his hands free for other things.

Are clothespins also used on clitorises? Might be even more important to have them broken in there.

While I can't use these on Dusty as the fibro cystic breast diease makes it to painful. I love them and found that one quite by accident by messing around with myself.

We tend to use the same technique as Mr. Blonde does yes they don't stay on more then 10 minutes because they get to be a wee bit to intense if they do.

Ummm... No... the only time I have ever safeworded out of a scene was due to clothespins. I HATE them.

I kind of feel like a freak though because everyone I know likes them.

LOL, now these hardware clamps I bought, I must admit cause the 'breaking in' idea to seem attractive on an bad day. They make the most tension filled clothespin seem like a miniscule sample of what can be a truely sweat filled, breathless experience.

I didn't feel real pain, just an uncomfortable ache and I mentioned it to Master. He told me to remove them. When I came back into the realm of consciousness, I told him about seeing stars and he said, "I know you did."

My nipples stayed erect and I felt "reminded" of Master daily for almost a week before my nipples were not too sensitive to touch (showering was a nightmare - ). This happened 10 days ago and if I rub them, the sensation of the pins comes right back.

I love clothespins and the wooden ones or the ones with rubber tips are the best using the other side. We use them in play a great deal and they are quite wonderful going on is stimulating but taking them off is so arrousing and wonderful. I love having them on in so many different areas. We have used them for years and we both love them .
