Every Tuesday morning ther local supermarket has a free coffee and donut session to attract people that might buy something while they are there.
This morning i drew my coffee and helped myself to a maple bar, and awaited the friends that usually show up. Usually there are couples, but today the first person to arrive at my table was a lovely widow that lives two doors from me. For quite a while we were alone, long enough for me to let her know that I wanted beyond hope to have an affair with her.
She smiled and told me that this afternoon, there would be a dance at a nearby center and invited me to take her.
Then others arrived, and we left to go our separate ways until time to leave for the dance at at noon
