I am Kensuke Tsukikage, the son of a family that runs the famous Tsukigake Shinto Shrine. One day my grandfather, chief priest of the shrine, introduced me to a beautiful girl: Koruri Hanayashiki, a young shrine-maiden-in-training who will be studying here. It's quite an honor to be able to train at such an ancient and famous religeous site as my shrine. A party was held with my childhood friends Nanao and Shiina to welcome Koruri.

At the party, my grandfather made an announcement: the upcoming harvest festival will be broadcast live on television, including the climax of the festival, the beautiful "dance of the shrine maidens." There's just one complication: it's the custom at this shrine that the shrine maidens have sex as part of their graceful festival dance. To make the special event a success, it's vital that I train all the girls in the erotic act of the dance in time for the festival, and choose my true love in the process. Because the girl I take as my wife will help save the honor and tradition of the Tsukikage Shrine.

In Summary, I live in this Shrine with 4 beautiful girls, and I'm supposed to teach them the erotic arts. Seems great so far, only at the end, I'm gonna have to choose someone.

9:00 AM. I got up from my small room in the shrine. It was the day right after the announcement my grandfather made. I couldn't sleep, and I was a total nervous wreck.

I got to a large table with several small pillows on the floor for the knees. It was breakfast time, but no one was out yet. They must be cooking for me, or still sleeping. I thought.

Sheena had woken up especially early that day to cook the new Shrine Master breakfast, she was cooking her speciality, Pancakes with syrup and sugar, The sugar of course was brought but she made the syrup by hand every sunday as Nanao her best friend at the shrine loved Sheena's cooking.

Sheena lifted the last Pancake from the pan and turned the gas off, putting the Pancake on the tray, she picked it up heading for the room hoping her noise had not woken the new shrine master, she reached the room doors and entered...

I was a little startled by Sheena, and I took a step back before realising who it was. "Oh Sheena. Good Morning.." I said, nervously. I was still kinda freaked out with my newest position. I had to choose one...But first I have to teach them to....Do that? I thought once more.

She stepped into the room and was surprised to see Kensuke standing there, he moved back as if not knowing it was her or surprised by her sudden entrance and said

"Oh Sheena. Good Morning.."

"Morning Kensuke, Sorry i thought you would still be asleep, the rest of the girls aren't up yet i cooked you well mine and Nanao's favourite, my pancakes and homemade Syrup"

I sat down at the table, and smiled. "Should we wait for the others to wake?"

I had to admit...This was hard. Both Sheen and Nanao have been my friends for so long. And now, I gotta have sex with them? This is all too weird... I thought.

Minami eyes shot open, as she woke up she turned her body around hopped out of bed, walking over to the wardrobe she slipped her robe on and tied the bow up which literally held the whole thing together.

She brushed her heair away from her eyes and headed towards the door and opene dit heading down the corridor she could smell Sheena's pancakes and guessed that she had already served breakfast up so she headed to the Breakfast room and entered to find, Kensuke kneeling on one of the pillows and Sheena standing.

She walked up to the table and kneeled on the pillow to the right of Kensuke and said

"Good morning Kensuke, Sheena"

"It's no problem Kensuke, i do it almost every morning, im the head cook around here" she grinned and giggled as she called herself the head cool.

He sat down at the table, and smiled.

"Should we wait for the others to wake?"

She shook her head and said

"No, i don't know about the new girl but Nanao sleeps for quite a while so its best to eat the pancakes whilst their hot"

Suddenly Minami entered the room, Kensukes former Aunt in law dressed in the normal Shrine Maiden attire (as was Sheena), she kneeled down on one of the pillows and said

"Good morning Kensuke, Sheena"

"Good Morning Minami"

Sheena flopped down on the pillow and grabbed herself a pancake and some syrup, she turned to Kensuke and said

"Hey we were all thinking of going to the beach today, how does it sound to you"

"No, i don't know about the new girl but Nanao sleeps for quite a while so its best to eat the pancakes whilst their hot"

I smiled and scratched the back of my head. "If you say so."

I kneeled on one of the pillows and took a pancake as well. When I started eating, Sheena said "Hey we were all thinking of going to the beach today, how does it sound to you"

I set my fork down, and swallowed the food I had in my mouth. "Sure! I'd love to go." I said. And now I get to see them all half naked. They're not making things easier... I thought.

Minami nodded in argreement, she had finished her Pancake and stood up saying

"Tasty as ever Sheena"

She leaned down and kissed Kensuke on the cheek and then said "I'll just go and get changed"

She picked up her plate and headed out of the room.

I rubbed my cheek as I saw Minami leave. "Ok.." I finished eating and stood up.

"Thank you Sheena." I said, bowing a bit. "I'm gonna go bathe before we go." I said before I left for my room. I took a bath robe, and a towel and I went to the hot springs behind the Shrine.

Somewhere a glint of sunshine had managed to filter its way through her room and was playing over Nanao's shut eyes. Mumbling something obscene she rolled over, her blue hair sticking out in all directions, and tried to ease herself back to sleep. Finally, the smell of pancakes was too much and she forced herself out of bed.

Wake up sleepy head...

Tugging a brush through her hair and deftly working them into her signature style, she quickly tied her robe together and made her way towards the breakfast room. Noticing Kensuke wasn't there, Nanao decided he must have already been there, and she quickly plopped down on the pillows.

"Morning Sheena."

Helping herself, Nanao ate quietly, her eyes half lidded and still half asleep. Rubbing her face in an attempt to wake up, she lazily drug a bite of pancake through syrup and looked up.

"So, did you manage to talk Kensuke into going to the beach with us today?"

I removed my robe near the Hot spring, and sat in it. I had alot to think about. How can I pick one? They all want to be with me...Otherwise my grandfather wouldn't have chosen them.. I thought. I just layed back and looked at the sky.

Koruri woke to the sounds of muffled talking from downstairs. She sat up and stretched with a big yawn, then she saw the clock. "Oh no, it's late!" She threw off the futon cover and dashed into the bathroom to wash up. She was up late, studying the Shrine's history texts, but that was no excuse, she told herself. If she was going to win the title of shrine princess, she would have to be punctual - and look good, she reminded herself.

Koruri washed her face and brushed her hair as best she could, no time to do more. Then she pulled on a pair of tiny white panties and put on her blue flower pattern yukata, tying it closed around her waist. Lastly she tied two tiny pink bows in her hair.

As she came downstairs, she smelled pancakes. "Ooh, pancakes, thank you Sheena!" she cried, running into the kitchen. She saw Ken on his way to the bath, and she blushed. "Oh! Hi Kensuke! I hope . . . you have a nice bath," she said, her words sounding silly to her own ears. She shouldn't be so . . . fawning, she told herself, but he was so handsome . . .

She'd heard the girls talking about the beach, and she smiled to hide her apprehension. Koruri wasn't used to wearing a bikini, she always felt so . . . exposed. You don't even own a bikini, she reminded herself. She shrugged, instead concentrating on the pile of pancakes in front of her.

"Morning Sheena."

"Morning Nanao, ENjoy your favourite, Pancakes"

Nanao sat down quietly and began to ate her pancake

"So, did you manage to talk Kensuke into going to the beach with us today?"

"Yeah it was easy, he does whatever i tell him to, proberlly can't resist, you seem sleepy Nanao when your done eating, we can go to the Spring and join Kensuke"

Suddenly Koruri the new girl at the Shrine entered the room and sat down

"Ooh, pancakes, thank you Sheena!"

"No problem Koruri you'll be coming to the beach right..." said Sheena

"I always enjoy your pancakes, Sheena."

Nanao smiled and stood up, taking the empty plates from the table and walking over to the seat. She still felt tired, she needed to stop reading romance novels before she went to bed. She should be studying like Koruri did. But, she was only part-time, it wasn't like Kensuke would pick her. Even if she had known him the longest.

"Yeah, I'm still a little tired. I got to a really good part and couldn't put my book down. You'd think that I would have learned by now. Mmm...the hot spring sounds nice."

They were going to the beach so there wasn't any need to wash the dishes, she could do that when they got home. All Nanao had to do was fill up the sink with hot water and soap and let them soak until their return. Koruri soon walked in and Nanao greeted her with a soft smile.

"Do you have anything to wear to the beach? I might have something extra if you want."

Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, Nanao stiffled a yawn and turned away from the sink. Giving Sheena a hug when she passed her, she walked out of the breakfast room and into the hall. Towel, she needed a towel, and a change of clothes. Washing off quickly in the small side room, she wrapped the towel around her body and stepped into the room where Kensuke was.

"Morning. I feel bad, leaving Sheena with Koruri like that, but she'll catch up, won't she? It was a good idea though, sometimes I can't think until I've had my bath."

Setting the extra towel down at the edge, Nanao kept the other towel wrapped around her body until she was concealed by the water. Unwrapping the wet cotton took some concentration, but, she managed it. Setting the sopping towel over the edge, she wondered why she'd been seeing less and less of her childhood friend. It was ironic considering she now lived at the shrine.

"It's been a while since we've done this, hasn't it?"

 

[Damien Kainen]

"Morning. I feel bad, leaving Sheena with Koruri like that, but she'll catch up, won't she? It was a good idea though, sometimes I can't think until I've had my bath."

"G-good morning Nanao." I said hesistantly. I was kinda nervous considering I was naked in the water. "I'm sure she's alright. Koruri seems very nice."

Soon Nanao came into the bath with me, which caused me to get even more nervous.

"It's been a while since we've done this, hasn't it?"

"Yeah..It has. I remember when you used to visit me here. Now we li.." I didn't finish, as it was already clear.

 

[Otra]

"You don't have to be so nervous, Kensuke. It's not like you can see anything, right? You'll just have to promise to close your eyes when it's time for me to get out of the bath."

Nanao chuckled and winked good naturedly, hoping to lighten the mood. She had a good idea of what was going through his head and it bothered her. After all, they were such good friends and now everything was changing. What they were going to have to do, eventually, but, it was for the best of the shrine. And if Nanao wasn't picked, she could leave the shrine in good confidence to pursue a career.

"Koruri does seem very nice, quiet, but, I guess everyone seems quiet after Sheena."

She undid her braid and let her hair come undone. Dipping her head under the water, she sighed and closed her eyes for a moment. Nanao could feel herself slowly waking up, thankfully she wouldn't be sleepy the whole day. It wouldn't be any fun to go to the beach half asleep.
