Stacy tried her best to walk in a straight line along the path leading to her front door. Her friends car pulled away behind her, returning to the party she had just been at. She swayed a little as she walked slowly up the path holding her high heeled shoes in her hand as she walked bare foot. Her blonde hair was curled and messed upon her head and the red dress she was wearing had a small wine stain on the front. It was a cool night but the denim jacket she wore over herself shielded her from the chilling breeze.
Finally reaching the door, she began to clumsily hunt through her bag to find her keys. As she moved items around her phone screen flashed on revealing the time. She squinted against the bright light and read '1:30AM' on the screen.
"Shit..." She groaned to herself. If her dad had been up he would of gone crazy at her. He was a little stricter than most fathers but Stacy tried her best to live her sociable lifestyle. She was just grateful that he was asleep as she pushed the key into the lock and opened the door. The living room she entered was pitch black and after placing her shoes down by the door she clicked the switch on the neck of a lamp, flooding the room in a yellow light.
She instantly jumped back in surprise as she saw her father sat looking at her in an armchair. He was sat in a bath robe with an empty cup of coffee and his face showed that he was far from being reasonable with his teenage daughter.
