I also want to wish everyone a good weekend... I know that some of you are having some things to deal with..just wanting to let you know that my heart is with you...

we are having our "pinkster" weekend (don't know the word in english- i will look it up later)...long weekend here too

I could think of a lot of meanings for pinkster, but...

I was just passing and saw your post so I put "pinkster" in google then went to Wikipedia.org and found the following.

Pinkster is a spring festival, taking place in early June. The name is a variation of the Dutch word Pinksteren, meaning "Pentecost". Pinkster in English almost always refers to the festivals held by African Americans (both free and slave) in the Northeastern United States, particularly in the early 19th century. To the Dutch, Pinkster was a religious holiday, a chances to rest, gather, and celebrate religious services like baptisms and confirmations. For their African slaves, Pinkster was a time free from work and a chance to gather and catch up with family and friends.

Pentecost is a Christian feast falling on the seventh Sunday after Easter, in remembrance of the descent of the Holy Spirit, in the guise of flames. on the apostles at the "Feast of the Harvest" (Ex. 23:16), also known as Whitsunday, enabling the apostles to spread the news of Christ in all languages, (glossolalia or the "gift of tongues") (Acts 2).

this weekend is a little bit like yours: Monday is also a holiday here.

What kind of coputer-problems do you have?

my laptop is in for service and my normal computer can't see my HD-camera anymore... something to do with the drivers apparently....i have two hard drives in there - the one does not see the cam and the other does not connect to the internet....
so everything has been formatted....done all over again...still problems!!! seems to be something with the cam - don't know anymore!
soooooo no work, no play!
