It was a bloody good one. :D

But now we know how Lou found her hubby. ;)

Yeah, the poor sod, he thought he'd bagged a bargain.

HANYWAYS!

Back to the topic at hand...

WTF was it again???

I need to double check, Lou ... but I think the text on the spine goes the other way (north to south). Easy to fix, though. Very nice work! :rose:
Continental Europeans one way, Americans the other, I think.

DAR's 1st and Lou's 2nd are great. I can't decide between the two.
I know the feeling, I was right between. I wen't for Dar's though. Great ice cube.

vote and bump (now if I just had something to grind against)

I opted for 4degrees' design. I especially like the 'swizzle stick', very erotic.
I do like the idea of different colors for future volumes.
I didn't vote for Tatelou's because I thought that men might not appreciate the vibrator. Although, the art work was good.

Heehee!

It's not a vibe, it's a bullet. Ok, so not a real bullet, but a bullet cocktail shaker. :)

Thanks for your comment about the artwork, btw. :rose:

Oh. My bad.

But it does look like my vibe.

I voted for Lou's cocktail shaker/woman shaker one. I thought that looked very clean, very crisp, very professional.

The Earl

I voted for 4 degrees. The art was good and the font was less ... late 20th century than the others. Nice work everyone!

It was the cherry, the clean crisp symbolism and the easy to read font.

When I'm looking for a book on a shelf, I want to find it!

Love the idea of changing the colors for different volumes. Easy and artistic.

Time's is running out, who's next to vote?

I'll be sending in the ISSN application this morning with Lou's wraparound cover.

Thanks to all!

congrats. tatelou!

i was right behind ya...well sort of. your concept is great. the book is gonna look kick ass. way to go.

Congrats, Lou.

I'm happy with this cover. LOL
But it seems most of us will be. Duh!!!

For the first three volumes primary colors? Red, yellow and blue?
After that we can go for the secondary ones - orange, green and purple - and save silver and gold for special editions?

Hey, no harm in dreaming is there?

:D

So nice to see optimism!

Well done Lou - and well done all who made the effort.

Nice AV BT - leaves one longing...

Nice idea. We'll have four full volumes of variety. Perhaps volume 5 can be a themed one.

We're gonna have to decide how fast to crank out the subsequent volumes. Writing the Introduction and lining up the illustrations will be the most time-consuming aspects of later volumes. We might want to rotate the charity targeted for proceeds, too.

Lou -- please e-mail me the high res version of your volume 1 cover in the size CafePress wants for a 5x8" book. I can add the back text myself, once it's finalized.

Congrats, Lou. I like the idea of different colors for different volumes. Just how far this will go remains to be seen but optimism does no harm. ;)

Oh bugger *L* I should have read to the end of the thread before i voted *chuckles*
