It's part of a pattern of chicanery and lying, and it was not as long ago as some of the things I have read about Roy Moore and of Trump being accused of housing discrimination.

Trump's bumbling insistence that he legitimately won the election is causing more and more people who begrudgingly originally were willing to acknowledge that he did to switch to believing that he probably didn't--that he was--and continues to be--a witting accessory to a successful Russian attack on the United States. The term "Manchurian candidate" is popping up more and more and becoming more and more real. Sad.
