Click on the person's name and select "Add ... to Your Ignore List".

Alternatively, you can do it manually by going to "User CP" (link near top-left) and selecting:

User CP --> Miscellaneous --> Buddy/Ignore Lists​

Then in the bottom box, type the name of the user into the "Add New User to List" box and click on "Save List".
