Confused Heart

Mak let out a long breath before saying, "I do.... I mean, I still have feelings for you, but I'm with Drew. I don't know if my feelings for you are strong enough for me to ruin what Drew and I have."

She walked towards her and placed her hand on his shoulder. "I feel like two completely different people. With you, I'm wild and there's so much passion, but that's not always a good thing. With Drew, I'm level- headed and we just have that spark."

She paused a moment and said, "Alex.... Drew and I haven't even had sex. When I was with you.... let's face it, our relationship was pretty based on that. Not that it wasn't great."

She was starting to feel a little like her old self as she looked at Alex. He was gorgeous and she was having trouble containing herself around him.

"The passion and sexual side was great.... I mean, of course, you can't have a relationship based on it. Oh, I don't know what I'm trying to say. It's like the two people are merging and I don't what I want. I miss that passion, but I have to feel the spark."

Like she was suddenly possessed, she turned him towards her and kiss him deeply. She was caught up in the moment, but she pulled away.

"Oh, god! What am I doing? I'm so sorry." She shook her head and ran towards the locker room. She slung open the door and it slammed behind her. She sat down on the bench, in shock of what she just did.

I'm with Drew. I'm not the same girl anymore. I'm not. , she thought to herself as she sat there in the dark.

"You still love me Mak, and you need to accept it." His words hit her like a ton of bricks.

Mak was not willing to admit it so she said the first thing that came to her head, "I think it was just hormones acting out. I mean, I haven't had sex since we dated. I guess I'm just horny."

She couldn't believe she just said that, but it was better than admitting that she loved two guys. She heard Alex coming into the locker room and she said, "I haven't been that blunt since we dated either."
