Will we have an award for best male role player that's 19 years old, has short dark hair, joined in august, is a moderator, and has the name Renegade? I think it's the only award that I have any chance of winning. *grins*

In all the other congratulations that are being tossed arround, we need to remember the moderator that took charge of the nomination board. He took a lot of greief for doing a job that most of us would not touch for love or money. (I prolly gave him more than any one) He did a grood job inspite of us, and let Laurel and Manu take the time off that they needed. He deserves some kind of special award.

oops... did I say that out loud?
oh well... yes, for all of you who were wondering, it is me, I am back from a long, all to enjoyable vacation. I was so engulfed in my own spring break experience in Cancun that I didn't even think about the awards until I got home this morning, and I had discovered that I had won an award, and almost two.. but enough tooting of my own horn, I was just glad to be a part of this undertaking. A big congrats to all of the nominees and winners, and to all of those people who, even though they were strictly opposed to this whole thing, still voted anyways. This was something that could only have been this successful with the help and support of many people, one in particular being Laurel, she is the goddess of the web and we owe it all to her.. and Manu is cool too
This year, although it had some bumps, has opened up a lot of new avenues for next years awards... so, to be short, it can only get better... and better is good...

Oh Yes! Laurel and Manu have done the impossible! Kicked every other erotic sites' ass! This is by far the absolute best. God knows that if you start charging, I'd be the first to offer.
I really appreciate all the votes that were cast for me as Sexiest Female Author. Few people have seen my actual photo I did send to Laurel but made her promise not to post it.
Actually I'm 4' 10", triple chins and weigh 500 pounds and live in one room because I can't get through the door.

A belated thanks to you all
I was taking a few minutes to wander through the BB and just happened across this thread. In case anyone missed the thank you thread I put somewhere else, let me ramble a bit here also...
I really don't have the right words to express the gratitude to everyone who voted for my stories. I truly feel humbled by the whole awards experience. The fact that my ramblings were nominated was amazing to me, and the fact that I actually won a few of the categories shook me to my booties.
As for the wonderful authors, particularly in the S.O.T.Y., Group Sex and Erotic Coupling categories, I hope you realize how wonderful and exciting your work is, regardless of the actual outcome of the voting. One of the best things about the whole Literotica Awards, is the opportunity I got to read all of your works that were up for consideration. There were so many great pieces, most of which I've saved to read again. I thank you for an excellent competition.
There are so many excellent writers at Literotica and I am honored that some of you find my crap worthy of your attention, to say nothing of your vote. I thank you all from the bottom of my sometimes jaded heart.
The competition was fierce at times (not that I checked very often...;-> ) and I was away on a bit of a mini-vacation when the winners were announced, so it was a wonderful homecoming surprise for me.
